Vision Bar — Restaurant in Venice

SCAM. After sitting there and having 2 small ice creams and 1 small water, when i went to the cashier to pay the bill and the waiter told me it’s 7€.

While i was paying with contactless i thought i saw 27€. (The waiter is not showing me the machine and holds it above my eye level turned to himself)

Since everything happened in a second, i asked him if he put 27€ to the pos machine and he said no no and showed me the facture of 7€. But this is not the payment receipt, it’s the bill. Since we had to leave for the airport, i left, but i had a bad feeling about this. When i had a moment in the bus, i checked my bank statement and i saw the 27€.

Absolutely impolite and dismal service.

I paid for my drink and the bar woman assumed I ordered it to go. After using their bathroom (which was in extremely unclean condition), I came out and asked if I can get my drink to stay. The lady blatantly said no. I asked the barman next to her if I can get it to stay, not understanding what the problem was. The lady then said it would be €2 extra to stay. I told her she never asked me if it was to stay or to go. I went outside to reorganize my bag at their patio table so I could leave, the lady followed me and offered a to stay glass without the extra charge. I promptly left.

Service was horrendous. I had better drinks and service further...

A delightful surprise! I would has assumed this would be a sub-par tourist trap based on it’s excellent location on the grand canal just across from the train station, but I was wrong.
