A Hidden Gem with Heart – More Than Just a Restaurant
We’ve known the owner of this restaurant for many years, ever since her early days at Noodleman in Oregon. Watching her grow from a small business into what she’s built today has been nothing short of inspiring. Her commitment to quality and reputation is unmatched—she truly pours her heart into everything she serves.
Unlike many large restaurants where managers may overlook the details, she treats every dish like it’s her personal signature. Her passion for cooking and dedication to customer satisfaction are evident in every bite. This restaurant isn’t just a business—it’s her life’s work, and it shows.
She’s working incredibly hard to make her brand stand out in the competitive Seattle market, and she deserves recognition for that grit and determination. If you visit, make sure to say hello—she has a way of making you feel welcome, relaxed, and appreciated. Her positive energy alone is enough to brighten your day, and the food will leave you smiling long after you leave.
Highly recommended—not just for the great food, but for the...
Read more4.9 rating as of the time of my review, unbelievable.
I do want to point out that the store offers free drinks for your online review.
In my case, I didn't bite. This is my reward-free review.
The establishment is located in an affluent neighborhood with plenty of offices.
The ambiance inside the store is typical. Nothing fancy at all.
The crepes are typical street food in China.
The price is $14 and up for something super basic. If you don't add anything, your crepe is going to be as flat as a pancake.
Ordered three different ones to try, the crawfish was a bit better, but the beef sausage is the worst, there're tiny pieces inside, I think it's because they want you to pay for extra ingredients.
For the price, customers should be able to add three additional toppings (aside from the premium add-ons). I have zero interest in getting a crepe for $20 with tax after adding some potatoes and cucumbers,
The lychee tea is super diluted, no tea to speak of. All water and powder.
The crepes have potential, but are too expensive for...
Read moreThis Jianbing is absolutely delicious! They’ve added a bit of salad dressing to cater to local tastes, but the wrapper itself is incredibly thin yet chewy—something you don’t often find even in local Chinese stalls. The sesame seeds sprinkled on top add a lovely, fragrant touch too.
What really stands out is the crispy fritter inside; it doesn’t get soggy even after some time, which speaks to its quality. The fillings and seasonings are pretty much spot-on, just like what you’d get in China. I opted for the hot version, and it actually packs a decent kick—totally authentic to the Chinese-style Jianbing I know.
I went for double the crispy fritter, though, and that made it a bit too rich. If you’re not a fan of heavy, greasy flavors, I’d skip the extra. All in all, it’s a fantastic...
