I happened upon this cafe after a quick google search for a coffee shop I could meet up with a friend at near the Mall of America and saw this place had great reviews. Driving up I was a bit confused what I was looking for, but my my GPS did bring me right to the front door. The cafe shares an entrance with a restaurant (Zawadi) that has a very large sign but thankfully they had several smaller signs around the parking area so I knew I was in the right place (a business park, on the side facing the hotel). Highly recommend stopping by to support this small business and the fantastic restaurant next door (think Chipotle but with savory African...
Read moreWas looking for a coffee shop nearby when running errands in Bloomington. GPS took us a little short of the entrance and it looked like they were closed. I called to check and they were open but the entrance is further along, just inside the bigger main entrance to the building. I got the Nomadic Tea with marshmallow - the person working described it as a Somali Chai. It was delicious, but definitely a sweet drink.
The table arrangements were very spaced out and it felt very open which was nice, but does also mean that seating is limited.
Very affordable for a local cafe/coffee shop with today’s prices.
It seemed like they were under a partial remodel, so the number of tables/chairs may expand, and outdoor signage may be added in the future, but that’s just based on assumptions.
Overall, I...
