was excited to try this place. ordered a steak quesadilla, the MIDDLE EASTERN/MEXICAN looking man with the buzz cut at the front taking orders was the ONLY helpful person here. He was running back and forth to get my order but my partner also wanted something while the middle eastern man was in the back getting my order the other guy helping at the front skipped over us and started taking other peoples order, why else do you think we’re standing by the ordering counter? To be in peoples way? No we’re obviously not done with our order. the middle eastern man came back up with my order and asked if my partner also wanted something while the other man was trying to start a new order for a different customer. So the middle eastern man saw this and told his coworker “hey help these people (us) first, i’ll deal with the rest of the line” and the other dude STILL didn’t listen and continued to help the others, so we decided we won’t get anything else because of the service, and the Middle east man helped finish our order. Absolutely thrilled to share our unforgettable experience at the Zawadi Center in Bloomington, Minnesota! On Sunday, April 28th, we celebrated two milestone events - my brother’s Mehr ceremony and the wedding reception later that evening - and it was simply perfect. A huge shoutout to Osama, their exceptional event manager and coordinator, who went above and beyond to ensure seamless execution. His attention to detail, constant helpfulness, and clear communication truly made our day stress-free. He was with us every step of the way, ensuring a flawless experience.

Moreover, Zawadi Event Center impressed us with its family-friendly atmosphere. They were incredibly inclusive and accommodating, especially considering our desire to have our entire family, including children, together. This is very nice complex. It contains the restaurant and some meeting space. Attached is the coffee shop. Whole complex is very nice and clean. Zawadi was very good. Setup like a Chipotle or Subway, you pick your bowl. There are rice and or bean options. Then you pick a protein which included chicken and beef as well as vegetarian option of roasted cauliflower and plantains. Next you to choose from a large assortment of toppings such as cheese, chopped tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, etc. Finally you get to choose from a long list of sauces. The servers were very nice with explaining the items and giving you more or less of items if you just wanted to try something. I went with the sumac chicken on saffron rice. I ended up getting the red sauce and the green sauces that were not in the squirt bottles. The red sauce was super tasty and had a slow build of heat. The green was more fresh and herbal.
