My girlfriend and I come here about once a year and we typically have a good experience with the food and the atmosphere is prety good too. However, last time we visited I noticed the 16% gratuity included and I didn't say anything, because I thought it was the employee who did it. Yesterday we visited again and again we got hit with the gratuity. After looking into it here in the reviews, turns out it's a practice of the business. We noticed that the owner responded to ther reviewers saying that it is stated on the menu, but its pretty much in a corner and its covered by other things, possibly and hopefully and accident. We were disappointed in this, and in the explanation behind it, the table was dirty even though, they were not busy (either that or they dont have tables which makes it harder to be understanding of an additional 16% gratuity) and one of the crepes wasn't great because of the strawberries but we totally understand that's that's no one's fault. Sadly we will not be coming back or recommending this...
Read moreThe owner is stealing from his customers. Unless a water is $10 unadvertised, there is no way that two crepes, advertised at $16 and $13, and a water comes out to $43.75. As a professional in this industry I was shocked and have an inclination that this owner is tipping himself at the end of transactions. Highly illegal and he needs to be exposed.
P.S. after doing some research. The owner auto-gratituities without advertisement. That is so illegal! I was even going to tip but thougt it was strange at the end of the transaction that I was not given an option. I even talked to the owner and thought he was a cool guy. Not after this. Dude! The stuff you are pulling is super illegal. That's messed up that you are allowed to run a business with such shady practices. As a bartender, shame on you! Never visit this...
Read moreAwesome! I'm sitting here with my wife in front of Trolly Crepes on a gorgeous Saturday evening. We just had two awesome savory crepes and two awesome sweet crepes from Trolley Crepes. Wow! So good! And super fast too. When I first saw the guy in the trolley, I was a little nervous, because he looks like he could cast a mean spell on me. But he has a really cool gruff voice, something like straight out of Pirates of the Caribbean! We originally went to the other crepe place up the street. We waited in their line for less than 10 minutes, but realized it was going to be an over 2 hour wait! What? Huh? No way! So, we took a short walk down here to Trolley Crepes and within a few minutes we were rewarded with fantastic yummy crepes. And oh so warm! Great business. I hope you continue to do well. Best...
