My friend and I visited TAB on a Saturday evening when it was freezing outside, so we opted to sit indoors. The venue is stunning, decorated in rich dark red and brown hues, with an intimate, chic, and dimly lit ambiance that has a charming old-fashioned twist. It exudes a cozy yet elevated vibe, making it the perfect place to unwind for hours.
The service was impeccable. Every staff member, from the hostess to our server, was top-tier. Our server was absolutely amazing, attentive, warm, and genuinely a joy to be around. She truly made our night, and I feel terrible for forgetting her name, but we will definitely be back.
The crowd was effortlessly cool, chill, social, and relaxed, which I love. Finding this kind of energy and vibe in Dallas has been rare, but TAB nailed it. We even met some lovely people.
As for the food, the queso and chips were delicious, and the Margherita pizza was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. From the crisp chips to the fresh ingredients on the pizza, everything just blended beautifully.
I think I’ve found my new favorite Uptown hangout. This was exactly the vibe we were looking for. Thank you for bringing TAB to us. We can’t...
Read moreI have been sitting here for approximately an hour smelling the smoke of people smoking on the patio and not a single person has stopped by to ask if I wanted to order anything. I’ve never had this problem anywhere, ever, so I’m confident in saying the landlord will force a default and find a new tenant soon. Avoid at all costs. Expect a new restaurant to be here soon.
This is evidence by the fact that it’s 11:00 on a Friday night and it’s absolutely dead here while every other bar is packed. Keep in mind this is Uptown where I haven’t been forced to smell a cigarette in half a decade or more. Thankfully this spot will be filled by someone else soon.
But hey, if you want to shave a few years off your life while getting non-existent service, by all means, help yourself.
This is the harshest review I’ve ever given, but this place is legitimately awful. The good news is it won’t be...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant while craving a good shrimp dish, and I’m so glad I did. Despite the dining room being packed, I was able to find a spot at the bar, where I was warmly welcomed by the manager, Kevin. His attentiveness and professionalism stood out—he not only took the time to hear my recommendations, but also suggested a cocktail that paired perfectly with my meal.
I started with the shrimp fondue appetizer, followed by the shrimp and sausage bucatini as my main course, accompanied by the Lucky Mule cocktail Kevin recommended. Every bite was flavorful and hit the mark. The food was excellent, the service even better, and Kevin’s hospitality made the experience memorable. I’ll...
