Heidi's Brooklyn Deli — Restaurant in Denver

I work at the airport I come here all the time for breakfast sandwiches today I was met with an experience I never had before . The attitude of the server Abinet was horrible which is very common with her. Starters she accused me of stealing when I had a peanut butter cookie in my hand before she even greeted me. I hadn’t put my order in and she leaned over the counter and said infront of other customers while I’m in uniform “I’m making sure you don’t steal” baffled by that the response I gave her was I work at the airport why would I steal for where I work at ? I wish that was all the unpleasant she was. When I got the total I realized it was 2$ off I mentioned to her I bought the same exact thing yesterday and the total was less she to then her response was “I’ll print your receipt” then I noticed why it was more she charged me for a cookie I didn’t even purchase. It’s 2$ yeah but it’s the principal. Then when the order was finished I was looking at my phone and she slammed the order of food on the counter and that to her was a professional way of telling a customer their order was ready. Which again is something that is very common for her to do. So after paying for the meal and paying more at that her way of telling customers their orders are ready are not a simple “here ya go” her way is to slam the bag on the counter WITH YOUR FOOD IN IT and say nothing at all expect look at you like you’re crazy when you look at her. Again I come to this place all the time I never say anything I usually let it go but after today it was just entirely way too unprofessional and it’s not fair to the employees that are happy and greeting customers with smiles every morning for her to be allowed to treat let alone airline workers but customers this way as well. I get it we all have bad days but she’s never had a good one. She’s unapproachable not friendly and honestly sometimes when I see her I don’t even go because of the attitude she has I would much rather just go somewhere else than to deal with that at 6:00 in...

Normally have a good experience here so that saves this from being a 1 star review but today's experience felt way off.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich at 730am. Pickup was 8. When I got there at 8 it wasn't ready. In fact, it hadnt even been started yet. It was not busy inside at all.

The only employee working behind the counter was talking to a customer for quite a while about how catering orders work. He finally acknowledged me and couldnt "find the order in the system" at first. Once he finally found it, he realized it was sitting there for a half hour or he forgot about it. "I'll make it right now" he says. Ok, but the order was placed a half hour ago so it could be ready for pickup at 8. Not started at 8.

In a rush to try and get it finished while I was standing there, when the order came up, it wasn't even correct and I didnt get the extra meat I had already paid for. Rather than waste more of my time, I just left.

I will make a return to this location since its close to work, but I hope to not have another experience like this again moving forward.

If online orders are no longer possible at this location, or can't be fulfilled correctly, they really should update...

I would love to give this place a better review and I was really hoping to especially because it’s supposed to be a Brooklyn style deli after looking at the menu. I was very impressed so I decided to order food upon receiving my food. I couldn’t even eat it because they added an extra ingredient that was not included on the ingredient list. I am Jewish and although I don’t eat at kosher restaurants, I try my best to keep as kosher as possible which means I do not mix dairy with meat. The ingredients of the sandwich were veggies and meat with mayo I even noticed that when making the selection cheese wasn’t up charge, which was perfect as I didn’t want any cheese at all, my sandwiches show up and I happily unwrapped it to notice cheese! I did not eat the sandwich that I gave it to my coworkers who had to eat it and tell me it was good because I couldn’t do to my religious restriction I honestly feel like if the ingredients say certain items those should be the only items I appreciate the thought as it was a dollar and change extra for cheese...
