A tiny restaurant tucked under a hotel had to use Google maps for walking and found the place...
It's a very bright, colourful Indian theme and a quaint cart...
Food ---- amazing, we managed to eat it all! We had poppadoms (different style and taste than uk) along with a mint spicy dip at first we thought it was awful but very addictive its like either love or hate marmite! Chicken paokrida! (spelt on menu) a very fussy teenager FELL in love with it and couldn't get enough of it... Had chicken curry and madras and rice for family of three and naan was amazing... surprised that my teenager daughter have said I have really enjoyed my dinner tonight..
Service-- it was only an older man waiter, he was very attentive and making sure if we wanted curry mild medium or spicy etc etc my teen thought he was so so lovely!
Price- very reasonable
Drinks- would like to have more options as we had water and it was kept filled up but we realised we could finished our meal fully so it was all good afterwards
Pudding- got given a wee rice pudding my husband and I love rice pudding since childhood so his was indian rice pudding we thought at first mmm tastes weird but gradually we loved it!
So thank you for making our wee evening so memorable and also you have made a very fussy and stubborn...
Read moreWe went here for dinner assuming it was all you can eat buffet. there was a sign outside of their store that had said that but when we went inside, the buffet was definitely closed. The sign needs some updating for sure.
we ordered the mango chicken which was pretty darn good. of course we got the garlic nan which tasted so good with the mango chicken sauce.
we also got the samosas from a check in I had before and the lady there said we could use the free samosas from yelp. however; when the bill came out, the guy refused to give it to us. we didn't want to argue over a couple bucks since the language barrier was already there.
they were attentive to our needs and always filling our water as soon as it was half full. i would definitely come back here...
Read moreThis place is located in an office building all the way at the end of the hall. My friends and I went to the restaurant near closing and were treated with so much care.
We decided to get a few items on the menu to share! We went with an appetizer, the dinner deal (which includes rice and 2 sides) and 2 dishes. The Samosas were great! Wish we had ordered more. For the dinner deal, we got the Black Lentil Dal and the Bergen. Then we ordered the Shahi Paneer and the Aloo Gobi (one of my favorite dishes). We got some garlic Naan and Aloo Paratha, I would recommend the ladder!
This restaurant is so underrated! This place has high quality food in a low-key place. The flavors of each dish were delicious!! Great Indian...
