Tadaima Marina — Restaurant in San Francisco

Stopped by at 11am on a Saturday and then came back again later at 1pm to try another drink. Both times there was almost no one in line. Waited around 5 minutes for our drinks. There are maybe 5-6 tables inside and some window stools.

The first time I visited, I tried the Hojicha latte. It was tasty! It was not overly sweet, especially if you let the ice melt. It reminded me of the Hojicha you can get in LA, or Maruwu Seicha.

On a calm day in San Francisco, I was really craving a matcha, and as this location had just opened I figured it would be a great opportunity to give it a try. The matcha looks great, but the texture is not as good as some other spots. It is rather grainy and leaves a lot of grains in the back of your throat. Because of that, this definitely wouldn’t be my go to for matcha in the area, because of other really good options. However, the redeeming part is their sandos. I’ve been seeing this place all over my feed, so I finally tried it. The Matcha with strawberry cream was amazing, the cream tasted like melted Häagen-Dazs and paired perfectly with the bold matcha. The Chicken Katsu Sando was juicy, crispy, and the mustard tied it all together. When we went, there was a bit of a line.
