I would have given a higher star rating, but I feel that due to the terrible customer service, a one star rating is sufficient. The food was good, even though I only ate a small portion. It's the customer service that did it for me. I had the Henry's combo, and would recommend it. The food was hot, and tasty. Our server was not friendly, seem to have an attitude, maybe she didn't want to be at work, not my problem. She didn't greet us, and had an attitude when we asked for more napkins and ketchup. Before leaving I asked to see the manager and another server came over and asked "what's wrong?" And said he was the head server and there was no Manger there today. Well, for one,, he doesn't even know how to be a Manger because that's not how to ask the customers for feedback. I did explain to him the problem we had with the server and told him even though the food was good, I would not be leaving a tip and would never come back again. I may try the Henry's in Pooler, but never in Savannah Historic Downtown District. She needs to leave check her attitude at the door because regardless of how you feel, you should make customers feel welcomed, it makes a difference with tipping. I will never tip someone with a...
Read moreWe chose this restaurant for breakfast after looking at the reviews but it wasn’t too good experience. They had breakfast buffet available along with menu dishes. My partner chose chicken omelette from menu which came with toast and veggies on side while I tried their buffet. To begin with, buffet had scrambled eggs, biscuits, fruits, muffins, chicken fried, pork and beef tots, grits and hash browns. There was everything but it was all cold food and I couldn’t eat more when I saw wet plates for buffet. It was written we need to get new plates everytime we need fill up but when I went there the plates were wet like literally I could see water on it. Yes, we’re still living in the same pandemic world where we should use the precautions and keep things clean. Their hot chocolate was good though. I wouldn’t want to...
Read moreMy husband and I ate here hoping to eat a good hearty breakfast. Unfortunately that was not the case. When you walk in, it appears nobody enjoys working here. Their facial expression speaks volumes! Our waitress Janaye(I believe was her name) was absolutely horrible! We thanked her several times during our dining experience, and not once did we get a " you're welcome." We have experienced some amazing southern hospitality, but not here. Our food was cold and the bacon was laying on a pile of bacon that had been pre-cooked, not sure that's a very safe or professional practice. She definitely did not deserve a tip that's for sure. The young girl who cashed us out was very friendly and took our feedback very professionally. She did say if we came back the next day she could serve us. We will not be going back to...
