Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Twin Falls

I've had some really great experiences with Applebee's. Occasionally it's nice to go sit at the bar and have a beer or two and eat lunch. The only complaint I have is the beer selection is lacking. I think they could benefit from carrying at least a couple more craft beers. They are limited on the number of taps they have but maybe cans of bottles. Other than that I've enjoyed everything I've tasted from their menu. They have a deal right now with certain burgers you can get five boneless wings for a dollar. I believe it was the extra hot buffalo sauce I got. It is pretty good stuff. I really enjoy spicy food but I don't have the tolerance some folks have for the heat and I wasn't dying from the spice after those five wings, so I would say they are hot but you can find much hotter at other restaurants. The flavor was very good though. I also had the quesadilla burger. Man, that was delicious. Pico de gallo, a mexi-ranch sauce, and I believe it had Jack and cheddar cheese. The burger was cooked just the way I asked, with some pink - it doesn't have to be mooing, but well done seems like a sin to me! The last time I went in I was a little disappointed. There was nobody behind the bar and I had to sit several minutes before getting service. This was less than a half hour after they opened and there was only a few people there. Who I believe to be the manager finally acknowledged me - he looked busy and didn't see me come in - and retrieved the bartender. The tender was real chill, nice lady and was on top of making sure I had beer and food. Overall I would say this is a great place to have a drink and food. I will certainly be back soon. I came in today and was incredibly disappointed with the service we received. Everything was going fine until our order started coming out. The server didn’t write down our order which is where I think the mix up started. Another server brought us our appetizers and 2 of 3 of them were wrong which I politely pointed out. Then our actual server came back with the same appetizers, tossed them on the table, and told us “Here’s the food you ordered.” Again, I politely told her that 2 of the 3 appetizers were incorrect. Her attitude got worse, but she proceeded to take the incorrect appetizers away. She came back a bit later with two more appetizers that were supposed to be the correct ones, but only one of them was corrected. I let her know that I wasn’t understanding where the confusion was, but nicely reminded her of the last appetizer that we needed. We finally got all of the correct appetizers, but at that point our server pretty much ignored us. We got a few glares from her while she stood at the bar, but she never came by to check on us until we were about to leave and had been needing refills for awhile. I fully understand having a bad day, making mistakes, or even miscommunication from both parties, but I do not appreciate being mistreated over an issue that wasn’t my fault, especially when I was as polite as possible about getting...

My review is only concerning one server, Khody. My sister and I decided to go to our local applebee's for a late lunch. We were seated quickly, but our table was rather sticky. After waiting 10 minutes we used the "call server" button to get the waiters attention. When he got to our table we asked for a rag to clean the table instead we were moved. After switching tables Khody took our drink orders. My soda arrived fairly quickly but my sister ordered a Fishbowl which we noticed had been made but was siting on the bar. After waiting 30 minutes Khody was still nowhere to be seen so we stopped a different server to check the status of her drink, he told he also noticed it was still at the bar. When her drink finally did arrive the ice was mostly melted and the gummy shark was so dissolved we had that we had to remove it with a fork. After my sister tasted her drink she decided to send it back. When I took it back, the bartender was very apologetic and promptly made a fresh drink. When our food finally arrived (Via different server) it was fine but probably would have tasted better if it was warm. Now, I don't know if Khody was having a bad day but or genuinely does not like being a sever but he seriously needs to work on his customer...
