First off... They are renovating and are not there yet. The renovated room was great for our family $90 USD cash - nice AC, nice fridge and couch and coffee table in addition to the beds. I felt the price of the room was worth it. The view was fantastic but we did need to deal with scaffolding that interrupting our view. There is an unobstructed view on the rooftop. Five-star location but I can not rate this "hotel" 5 stars due to poor management.||||We were so excited to stay here! We had an early morning flight and partial city tour before arriving as a family of 4. We were in direct communication with the hotel over text. When we arrived we were hot and clearly tired with two exhausted kids but we were taken to the top floor sofas and given the "hard sell - welcome" before we were given access to our room. I literally had to get up when my politeness ran out and say..." My children are tired. Where is our room?"||||The staff here lack professional boundaries walking into our room without being invited in while all our money and passports were out. I was shocked. The "manager" was in our face. Always saying he was there to help us (don't believe him) but if you are so silly as to ask him a simple question expect 15 min of roundabout response/ conversation with indirect answers, random information about how great he and how hard he works and all the people he has hosted and who gave him his shirt and an eventual sales pitch.||||He could care less that he was interrupting our sunset experience, dinner or listening to the magical Arabic prayers echo across the city. It was SO frustrating and completely overwhelming in our exhaustion and heat. We are very experienced travellers. For us to be overwhelmed, frustrated is something. He wore us down tried to pitch us against each other and didn't give us room to think (oh... she's the boss eh... we are confirmed but now you are changing things) ...I can't imagine how a less experienced traveller would feel when you are being told over and over that they are just trying to help you yet know in your gut that you are being played but don't have the energy to argue or do the research.||||My advice. Know your prices well from trip advisor in advance and DO NOT believe anything anyone here tells you. It was our fault that we engaged before we had a plan. Camels are 200 - 250 LE per person for 1.5 to 2 hours if you enter the Giza gate and go to your left and negotiate yourself. We easily could have completed the pyramids on our own. They up charged us for everything, tried to convince us that we could not get student rates for our kids (it was no problem), and provided no real value charging us 80 USD for the four camels. Then he tried to upsell and change things agreed to price about the time we would have the camels and to cost of admission. We counted at least 2, possibly three middlemen and then these middlemen aggressively asked for 500 LE as a tip for the person that actually did all the work (probably because they did not want to pay him).||||My recommendation is - Book here. Enjoy your room. It's awesome to watch the pyramids as the sun rises in the comfort of your room. Buy and bring your own drinks to the hotel or they will go and purchase for you for 20 LE each.||||Don't engage the staff or manager unless you are ready for it. Watch the night show from the roof and don't book dinner with them. Don't book anything through them unless you know exactly what you want to pay and have done the research - not worth the wasted time to listen to the hard sell and half-truths and changing prices. It's your moment. Enjoy it. Heads up that Uber works great in Cairo from the airport and around the city - Everyone uses google maps and google translate.||||Dinner on their rooftop is not very nice (Old table and chairs and no light yet served in the dark). 40 USD for 4 people (660LE) was what they were asking for dinner here - Shocking. If you need food there is a Pizza Hut just outside or even better pick up some Shwarma and drinks before you get here. You could also try to visit one of the other nicer patios nearby. (Things I wish I knew... large bottle water is 5-10LE, pop and juice 5-10 LE just outside your hotel, a Shwarma bun is no more than 25 -30LE (we often paid less than 20LE). Pay the shop keepers more than the local price they work hard and...

The moments I entered the room I was so much surprised and happy with the view, exactly as I wanted. I went to the roof to have the pyramid view, OH MY GOD. these were tge first words after reaching the roof and looking at the pyramids from here. This hotel is exactly alligned with the great Sphinx statue. The hotel is clean and located exactly at the best view point. Even you dont have to buy the tickets for the light and show at pyramids which happens every evening. These are other hotels also near to this place which pravide you the similar view but this is the best among them all. The area is also safe yes there will be people approaching you to sell things, but i think they are doing there job, you do yours either tell them no or just egnore them they will go away themselves. Apart from this the area is really safe and have quite a few dinning option aroud if you want to dine out. There is a KFC also just opposite to the pyramids ticket window. There are two rooftops in the hotel one above another, which makes it the closest and the highest viewpoint hotel in the area. Do not go with too much of expectations as its not a fuve star hotel, but they are doing a really wonderful job. For the view this hotel should get 10 out of 10.||Services|The view is amazing from this place as well as the service is the best, I am associated with the hotel and the hospitality industry so i know a few things in much better way. The rooms are clean amenities are provided like soap, shampoo, hair dryer, tea sef up, electric kettle. Which is really basic but still very important. Turndown service from the housekeeping is outstanding, really appriciated to all the housekeeping staff specially the girls in the red uniforms. |Breakfast was included in our package, the breakfast is basic with some local cheese, breads, fruits, juice, omelete and tea or coffee. Good enough to start your day and keep you going. They have so.e food menu available which is quite expensive then outside buts its worth it, if you want to enjoy lunch or dinner at the rooftop with the beautiful view of pyramids. Overall it was a wonderful experience staying at this place. All the staff including manager Mohaammad and another emplyee Mohammed and for most of them i dont remember the name but all the staff was very helpful even the team serving the breakfast is very effeciant and active as people have to leave early for the tours so the breakfast was served quickly. |I hope the pictures will give you the better idea to make the decision and to support my words. Have a nice stay whenever you will be there. This hotel is also sold as Sphinx guest house.|Free wifi and free room service also have the lounge...

I spent 7 days at this hotel and can tell you the following from my experience:
This hotel has an incredible view of the Giza necropolis, there are 6 other hotels in the area that offer the same view, so this hotel has nothing special to offer This hotel was filthy with hundreds of insects and bugs crawling everywhere from your bed to the bathroom The hotel hot water provides only a 3 minute shower and then you have to wait 4-5 hours for the boiler to reheat the water The hotel owner will screw you of every penny you have, he will pretend to be courteous and will call you a taxi for 160LE (Egyptian Pounds) to Cairo when the going rate is 120LE - he will take commission for anything you do The hotel owner sells fake papyrus paper for 1200LE when you can purchase the exact same papyrus painting in Khan Khalili for 35LE The hotel owner turns off the lights of the hotel after 9pm and locks the doors preventing guests from entering safely into the facility - he expects you to live according to his curfews The hotel walls are thin like paper, you can hear your neighbors talking through the walls The owner will attempt to portray himself as an honest salesman but will refuse to give you the service you deserve for your hard earned money. The hotel refused to provide us with clean towels, we had to ask 3 times for clean towels The beds are approximately 40-50 years old and have never been changed, there is old furniture and broken refrigerators littered throughout his hotel The hotel owner serves "home-cooked" meals for $20USD. The meal consists of 6 small chicken wings, a small bowl of white rice and frozen vegetables (most of which were burned, the cook is terrible and the hotel owner is unprofessional) The hotel staff will enter the room and go through your belongings - they won't steal from you, but they'll make sure they figure out how much money you're carrying and how to milk it from you
Stay far away from this hotel and spend your...
