A Mesmerizing Oasis with a Breathtaking View - The Gate Hotel Pyramids ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the most incredible experience at The Gate Hotel Pyramids, and I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment I arrived, I was in awe of the hotel's majestic presence, situated perfectly to offer an unparalleled view of the three pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx. This stunning vista alone is worth every star in this glowing review. Upon checking in, the staff warmly greeted me, making me feel instantly at home. Their genuine hospitality and willingness to assist with any request were beyond compare. Throughout my stay, I was consistently impressed by the attentiveness and professionalism displayed by every member of the hotel's team. The highlight of my stay, undoubtedly, was the astonishing view from the hotel's rooftop. Daytime brought an unobstructed panorama of the iconic pyramids, each standing tall with a storied history that left me speechless. The sight of the Sphinx, with its enigmatic smile, added an extra layer of mystique to the experience. As the sun set, the rooftop came alive with a magical transformation. The sound and light show illuminating the pyramids was nothing short of spectacular. The dazzling display of colors combined with captivating narration breathed life into the ancient monuments, transporting me back in time to witness history unfolding before my eyes. It was an emotional and unforgettable moment. The rooms at The Gate Hotel Pyramids were tastefully decorated, spacious, and immaculately clean. The level of comfort provided made it difficult for me to leave and explore the wonders of Egypt. Every modern amenity was available to ensure a luxurious stay, and I was particularly impressed by the attention given to detail in maintaining the hotel's pristine condition. Throughout my stay, the culinary offerings were delightful, and the diverse range of dishes catered to various palates. The dining experience was complemented by the attentive staff, who made sure that my preferences were catered to, further enhancing my overall stay. In addition to its remarkable view and top-notch amenities, The Gate Hotel Pyramids' location was ideal for sightseeing and exploration. The proximity to the pyramids allowed me to easily plan my day and explore these wonders of the ancient world at my own pace. In conclusion, The Gate Hotel Pyramids exceeded all my expectations. The five-star rating is well-deserved for this extraordinary oasis, where modern luxury meets ancient majesty. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a traveler seeking a unique experience, or simply looking for a tranquil escape, this hotel has it all. With its awe-inspiring view, warm and attentive staff, and impeccable services, I can confidently say that my stay at The Gate Hotel Pyramids was an absolute dream come true. I look forward to returning in the future and creating more cherished memories in this enchanting haven

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time here! They were very accommodating with our two girls age 9 and 11. We set up a tour through the hotel for the pyramid and one of the kids ended up with a tummy ache. They were so gracious with us and made sure there was nothing (medicine, extra waters ECT..) our little one needed while the oldest and Dad went on the tour. The next day our flight did not leave until 8pm and they had no problems with a late check out so the kids could rest up before our flight to Greece. Breakfast was new every morning and eating on the terrace across from the pyramid is just a dream come true! We could watch the evening light show and hear it all with our having to pay to sit up close. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay right next to the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. The beds are a little hard for us Americans, but we had plenty of pillows and blankets and a clean room with an attached bathroom. Egypt is experiencing a water shortage and the government has stepped in and will shut water off periodically. This was not a problem for us as it was back on before bed for showers, and they must do something. But this is a good thing to be aware of. I am so glad we decided to stay here and experience the magic that Giza and the Gates Hotel has to offer!

We found The Gate Hotel Pyramids while searching for hotels near the pyramids in Giza. We stayed at the King Suite which has a window facing the pyramids and it was like a beautiful dream. They also have a tub if you'd like to watch the pyramids while taking a bath. The room is clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. We loved the breakfast with the view on their terrace. They'll make you tasty omelette and fresh and hot falafels. The chef makes delicious foul (their traditional breakfast dish). The staff are really humble and friendly. I am particularly very thankful to Samar for her kind hospitality and ensuring that our requirements were met. She will make you feel at home and is very friendly. I highly recommend the Gate Hotel Pyramids. We would go back any day :)

We stayed in the luxury suite at The Gate hotel in May with our 2 children. We arrived at night and were greeted at the entrance and nothing was too much trouble and how we felt seemed important to them.||Our suite was amazing and the beds were very comfortable, even the children’s sofa bed. The rooms had perfect WiFi connection and were very quiet at night despite lots of noise going on outside in busy downtown Giza. We slept well and were very happy with the room and hotel facilities. The view of the sphinx and pyramids from our huge balcony was such a treat-we felt incredibly lucky to stay in such a beautiful suite||We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel- despite some of the reviews we had read, it was lovely and we didn’t wait too long for food at all. My children can be picky eaters but they were happy too. There was a good variety of food and drink options (the blueberry milkshakes were amazing!) We were very pleased with the food, everything was clean and hygienic.||The two terraces and bar were excellent and we loved spending time there when not sightseeing. And of course, the views were outstanding (we could view the evening sound & light show for free)||Overall, it was a beautiful, peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Outside the hotel, there were lots of restaurants, shops and people and many would try and talk to you, ask for money/food or try and sell you things but it was fine but we never felt unsafe, it was just very different to the Uk. There were so many cats, horses and camels outside, which was amazing for my 7 year old daughter!||The ticket office and Sphinx entrance were right next door to the hotel. We just booked our tickets online and walked straight in (literally the entrance is 2-3 minutes walk away)||We didn’t do any tours through the hotel, we just orders Ubers and went about on our own but had we wanted tours, we would have happily used the Gate hotels as they did look exciting.||We would definitely...

I was very anxious checking in, as we had a horrible first night experience in another hotel.

This was our last night in Cairo after a week of exploring Egypt and the hopes were up.

We stayed in a luxury room with the terrace. For the price we paid we were expecting great room, and we got it - the room was spacious and the pyramids view from the terrace was great.

However, the reservation was made via booking.com with late check out at 3pm included. That was not accommodated. We were asked to move to a different standard double room that felt like a cave - small with no daylight. After some debates with the receptionist we were "allowed" to stay in the new room until 3pm (even though it was paid for already), as they wanted us to check out at 1pm.

The view, yes, is magnificent, but it is muddled with the view of the dirty collapsed building right under the hotel, where the horse stables are. There are also camel stables to the left of the hotel. There was some, almost to no smell, but i can imagine how it reeks in the warmest time of the year. The malnourished cats, dogs and horses are also roaming in that area. So THIS view is not for the faint hearted, but i guess, this is a standard of the country to expect.

The breakfast was decent and with decent length (until 11am), so we thought we could sleep in. But the crew in the cafe/lightshow installation next to the hotel thought otherwise and we were "lucky" to be a part of 30 min rave party with loud dance music that was accompanied with the base that i have never experienced even in my teenage years, all of this at prime time of 3am. I only feel bad for the couple with a baby that stayed in this hotel...

All in all, it depends on your priority - comfort or the closeness to the pyramids. Our 1 night stay was more...
