The Beach House — Hotel in Ocean City

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is not what it seems. My wife and 3 kids stayed two nights out of a 4 night stay in mid August 2025. We bailed early requesting a refund of the last 4th night. We forfeited the middle 3rd night even though we left in the afternoon around 3pm, not 10am checkout. We accepted that. But for the final day/night we were not there. REPEATED requests to address our issues went unanswered. We let them know we checked out 2 days early - no answer. Any attempt to reach them and there was no answer.

Overall, we had a terrible experience here. This is AI run, there is no front desk, and any issue you might have, you will be extremely lucky to have a real person respond. If they are able or want to answer the issue then they might reply to your text. Phone calls are useless - no one answers. If they cannot answer or don't want to, then you will get no answer.

The parking situation is horrible. You are supposed to have 1 spot for each unit, but there is no enforcement. During our stay, someone parked in our spot and we had no way to try to find out who it was. That issue they answered!!! Via text message they told me to park anywhere - gee thanks a lot. Notifying the AI management was USELESS. So I know they are getting all of my texts since they answered that one.

The rooms are actually decent, but the walls are paper thin and if you neighbor has dogs and loud kids, like ours did, then you will have a rough night. This is what happened to us, making the trip a terrible experience.

The location is decent, only one block walk to the beach, but be careful. This section of the beach is thin, meaning further down you go towards 14th and 16th street, the beach widens to accommodate many people easily, not crammed in. This location is between 8th and 9th street, the beach is tiny there and on the weekends there is nowhere to set up. You will have to walk further down towards 14th street, so the location is not what it seems - that beach section you are near also has massive pipes and rocks. Google it with satellite to see it for yourself.

So, the one good part would be the location and as you can see it is not actually in a good location.

We are now fighting this company for the last night refund back through our credit card company. 1 month now and guess what - no answer. lol This place is the worst. Do not go here - find...

The Beach House is super close to the boardwalk and a beautiful apartment like setup. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. You have access to 2 pools at local hotels.

The reason for my 3 star review and only real complaint is the walls were super thin. Our first morning we were all woken up by the neighbors just having normal conversations. I could hear EVERYTHING. I could imagine how we sounded Friday night coming off the boardwalk with 2 families (in which there were 5 kids, ranging from 3-17). Saturday night into Sunday the new renters were talking loudly around 1am, waking up the room. I would stay here again IF they did something...

We love coming to the beach house! It’s so convenient being 3 mins from the boardwalk. It’s always clean which is a major importance & it’s so nice having the front porch to sit and have dinner. I highly recommend the beach house for your next stay! This was our second year and we will be returning next summer. Also it’s nice to have the pool next door and across the street that we can use. Many Airbnb’s we looked at had no pool. So this place is perfect...
