ED: I incorrectly spelled Shobha's name, so I wanted to rectify my error!
If anyone can tell, I'm new at writing reviews, but I had to write one for my experience shopping at Beverly Jewelers. I'm an indecisive person when it comes to jewelry shopping. The experience usually intimidates me, so when I started perusing the items at Beverly Jewelers I was already nervous. My sales person, Shobha, was very kind and patient with me, and not in that "I'm-a-sales-person-I-want-to-make-a-sale-so-I'll-put-on-a-fake-smile" type of patient. She gave me space to take a look at all of the displays to see exactly what it was I was looking for, even when I didn't know what I wanted.
I'm not a rich person, FAR from! Standing in a jewelry store always feels like I'm swinging well above my weight class. After trying on a few pieces I kept going back to this lovely oval shaped ring that has four smedium (yes, smedium) blue diamonds surrounded by small white diamonds, with a sprinkling of smaller diamonds set into it band. It's very simple and not ostentatious, but so beautifully arranged. I loved it. I then fall in love with the matching pendant (because of course). Again, not huge, but properly sized for me. I'm stressing because I worry that I'm shopping at caviar level with a pizza slice budget. Shoka priced it out for me, and bless her, the cost of both fell into my budget zone. This never happens. Not to me at least. I panic. I take turns looking at both pieces, and finally give into shoppers guilt and purchase only the pendant. That night, I fidgeted. I have never coveted jewelry before, and I've never purchased my own jewelry. Ever. I'm an old married lady in her mid-40s, so the idea of owning the the matching ring kept bothering me. I do some budgeting math and realized that I can, indeed, buy the ring. I return to the store the next day and buy the ring.
I'm very happy with my purchases. I know I would have regretted it if I hadn't made them. The staff at Beverly Jewelers couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. If I ever have a chance to return to St. Thomas, I'll definitely stop by to...

I bought a sapphire and diamond band here on vacation in March 2022 which I received in late April 2022. Since then it has lost a total of 5 large stones that I have had to replace. Two separate jewelers in my home city informed me that the ring was poorly made and the design was flawed (round stones in a square setting with not enough in the setting to secure the stones). after replacing four stones on our own and losing a 5th stone we reached out to Ronnie to tell him about the problem. He told us to mail the ring back and they would âtake care of itâ. We mailed the ring back and his jeweler in LA held it for 5-6 weeks. Ronnie then called us and said it was our fault the stones were falling out and that there was nothing wrong with the ring but they had done a âcomplete overhaul.â He told us we would need to pay him $160 if we wanted to have the ring back. we have paid the money but have not seen the ring yet.
This is 1. a false statement about the ring not being flawed (again, two other jewelers independently assessed that the ring was flawed, and I have not had this problem with any of the 4 other rings that I wear on a daily basis, none of which were purchased from Beverlyâs) and 2. bait and switch as we were not previously told we would need to pay additional funds after already having paid our own jeweler to replace stones.
we will never work with Ronnie or Beverly's again and I would discourage others as well. it may seem like a good deal but it wonât be after all the repairs...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in, we knew this was the quality and service we are accustomed to. In this area of St. Thomas, there are many jewelry stores (I have no doubt they are also lovely), yet Beverlyâs felt different. Aesthetically speaking, the store is beautiful inside and outside-feels high end and you are treated like a VIP (there is a charming rum bar as well). But most importantly the quality and prices are unmatched. There are beautiful pieces for all budgets, and if you canât find what you are looking for, they also have a custom jewelry option (which we are also going to use). They are a family owned business. Every single person we interacted with, from the staff member standing at the door, to the jewelry sales associates (Amit and Ranjit), to the staff members assisting in the in-house gift shop that sells cigars, liquor (which we also purchased), every single person was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We never felt pressured in any way. The customer service is impeccable. Once we made our purchase, they graciously offered to hold our item until we were done shopping. They followed up via text to ensure we were pleased with our purchase and they made themselves available in the event we had questions/concerns. By the time I arrived back home from vacation, they had already emailed our appraisal for insurance purposes. The attention to detail was impressive. We will definitely use them again for our jewelry needs. I love my piece! You will be very...
