The Bag Shop & More — Local services in Leavenworth

Very disappointed that the “Bag Shop” has changed what they sell to be more novelty items then “Leather Bags”. My family has made this shop a must stop everytime we go through or stay in Leavenworth, for YEARS... many bags and wallets have been purchased over the years. Very little leather bags (mostly vegan) and even with that, very little bags at all. Lots of socks, doo dads, clothes, and may I say, some junk. Leavenworth is a place that has those specialty shops that many look forward in supporting when in town...unfortunately... more are becoming novelty stores and the specialty stores are dying. Quality over Quanity...needs to...

The lady working the counter (by my experience I unfortunately think she is the owner) was incredibly rude and had zero customer service during our visit. She was short with every answer to every question, that alone put me off the the rest of the store. Which btw, if you are looking for a bag from the "Leather Bag Shop" there is a miniscule selection of bags compared to the rest of the huge store being random stuff. And based on the price of the bags, none of them are any good quality leather. Cheap pleather or "genuine...

One of the ladies working in the shop was kinda rude. My 3yr old was not having the best day, and she decided to comment on how I was parenting his attitude. Be kind people, you don't always know what is happening with kids, and it's not your place to tell a parent how to deal with them. I don't think I will be going back to this shop, which is sad, because I buy something there everytime I go to...
