Terra House Apartments — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

We gave five a star review on Yelp in July 2019, and my wife & I are still here at Terra House. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a large balcony. Us being here over two years should say a lot. Living here has been a positive experience. They are always thinking of events to bring the our community together. One of our favorite is the food trucks. Especially the ones that support the local businesses. At a recent event supporting a local food truck (Chef Ronzelle - delicious) had us thinking about where we live and had to do a follow up review. All the employees are friendly and well informed, especially the Maintenance Associates. The front desk Consultants are always available to assist. If you need anything addressed, call or email and they will fix/resolve ASAP. Great communications. Common areas are well kept and cleaned on a regular schedule. They have all the amenities you need; gated parking, gym, yoga room, Dog wash room, courtyard with a fire place, good size pool, grilling stations. covered wet bar, clubroom with kitchen, pool table, shuffle board and flat screen TVs, and key fob access on all common areas for security. It's location is ideal for many things. The amphitheater is a few blocks away, good restaurants, walking distance to Broadway (.7 mile). You can scooter to the Gulch (a little over a mile) and Bicentennial Park. Beautiful area over looking the Cumberland River and Downtown. Close enough and yet far enough from crowds to feel like home. Residents are respectful and mature. If you're looking for a good location, good people, good amenities, good price and supportive staff, try the Terra house. BTW, most, if not all

We have lived at Terra House for almost 2 years so far and honestly love it. I've never felt unsafe in the location and everyone has been overall friendly. I specifically want to shout out Natalie who I believe is a manager/leasing agent who has been super helpful throughout the time we've been here and extremely responsive as well. There is a rather new guy who also works at the office whose name I don't know (Sorry! :( ) but is always super friendly which I appreciate so much. Honestly though, this review gets five stars mainly because of the incredible maintenance stuff y'all have here. Put aside the great work ethic and response time they have, but they are so friendly and always take time to greet my dog. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about them, they are just humans working for humans and their personalities and kindness are probably the reason why we chose to renew your lease. The only downfall of this complex is the office availability. While I have always gotten my calls and emails returned in record time, I do wish that there was someone in office during office hours. At no fault to the apartment complex itself, but I have never had so many issues with FedEx, UPS and Amazon as I have had in this apartment complex. I work from home and at least get into an argument once every week with one of these delivery companies who constantly say that they cannot get into the apartment complex. Our unit doesn't even need access through the main doors which is why I can't blame the office not being open every day. I can't help but wonder if things would be different if someone was in the office during office hours all the time but quite frankly my anger isn't with the apartment itself but rather the delivery drivers who are just lazy. Drug activity, partying and loud at all hours in the game room and hallways. Smells like straight marijuana. Makes you feel unsafe. Manager refusing to speak to resident about general concerns and overall safety concerns when called. (Take note that the “manager” changes more than a roll of toilet paper.) Makes them seem uncaring and dismissive when you are not taken seriously. Front office staff seems vague, unknowing overall, and never seems to be able to offer any kind of reassurance or real help. Marianna is kind, however. Maintenance staff is outstanding and very kind. Trash has been skipped and not picked up at least a dozen times and no these were not holiday times and no there were no holes nor sharp objects in the bag. I called and expressed this concern due to the $30 monthly trash pick up charge. This place is completely overpriced for what you get especially considering the staff seems very uncaring and is unhelpful. There are much better places to rent in this area that have better management and better parking for guest. I do not recommend renting from here nor any other property they so-call manage. Also be aware that this complex is in with a booting company that is allowed to enter your parking garage and damage your vehicle, and they don’t care. Keep in mind these are not isolated incidents. I’ve known several current residents as well as past residents who have and had the same issues with this place. Extremely disappointing that the place you call “home” adds stress and strain due to their inept ability at solving any concerns. Also communication has been wide open with this office staff, as well as various emails. So a generic managerial response in order to appear as if you seemingly care via the internet is definitely not needed...
