I adore THIS specific E+Rose. If they're closed, literally do not even bother going to any of the others in Nashville. My boyfriend and I come here several times a week and I would highly recommend this location over any other that we've tried, Lea Ave. truly stands out.
Food/Bevies: Food? I LOVE their grab-and-go fridge. Their quinoa wrap is such a perfect lunch break. I have also had their avo toast and let me tell you. Absolutely sublime. The bread they used was local and the sprouts were a creative and elevating addition. Flavor and presentation were both wonderful!
Juice? Their juices inspired me to start juicing for myself. They are strong and fresh! I have NEVER sipped a juice from this location and felt it left anything to be desired. On multiple occasions, I have grabbed juices at the downtown location and felt the juices were either watered down or perhaps just a few days old? Regardless, the juices at the Lea ave location have always kicked my a** in the BEST way. My favorites are the Cold Snap and Music City Sunrise - both recipes that are now on repeat in my kitchen but still don't hold a candle to what the Lea ave. location prepares.
Smoothies? If you have ever been disappointed by an E+Rose smoothie, then I would bet money I know which location(s) you tried because yes, I have tried them too. But Lea Ave is not shy with their blenders. Never lumpy, the flavors are always very well balanced, customizations are always followed, and if you are not totally satisfied they are generous about remaking your order quickly. My favorites are the Berries + the Bees with cinnamon and the Goddess. I am obsessed with the "Best in Glow" and the Cowboy Cloud as well, and let me warn you yet again: If you are going to spend $14 on a specialty smoothie don't waste your time/money ordering it anywhere but here.
Ambience/Atmosphere: This is such a great spot to work remotely for the afternoon with a quinoa wrap and a pick-me-up juice. Lots of plants, well planned interior, and a calm environment. I recommend headphones if the sound of the blender bothers you, but they have accessible outlets and it is generally pretty quiet with good music!
Great spot for a day-time date. Very aesthetically pleasing, dog friendly, and plenty of different types of seating options. They have bar seating, a couch/lounge area, booths/small tables/remote work seating, and outdoor tables and bar.
Other Tidbits: If you're staying less than 15 minutes, there are labeled spaces in front of the bank where you can park!
If you're staying longer than 15 minutes, I would recommend walking if you live in one of the nearby neighborhoods or parking across Hermitage on Lea Ave. The area around Pinewood Social has recently been updated and makes for the perfect way to get a little fresh air.
The grass out front of E+Rose is very picnic friendly. If you have a pet, please consider taking them to one of the smaller grass patches to potty before settling in, in order to preserve the picnic-friendly vibes of the large grass area.
Plant-based requests are taken SERIOUSLY here. They have quite literally the only staff I have ever fully trusted to not accidentally use dairy or other animal products in my order.
Their bathroom is always clean and well-stocked! If all you're doing is running in for a bathroom break, I'd recommend hitting their grab-and-go counter on your way out and finding something tasty as a thank you for all the effort they put into maintaining...
Read more$7 parking for a smoothie with Kirkland (Costco) ingredients. Seriously. The almond butter is from Costco.
The cashiers told me there's parking UNDER the store, but there was never a sign or a clear path to that parking garage… And I looked. Please fix that because I was blessed with a seven dollar parking fee at a garage that I thought would be validated by the business. It wasn't.
Meanwhile, it appears the employees forgot to pull a Meghan Markle and remove toppings from the Kirkland store brand containers into unmarked glass jars ... Because Costco's branding was all over that counter.
I assumed this place had exotic, unique ingredients, but no… I can confirm that their almond butter and crushed red peppers are from Costco. I saw other containers too while I was searching for a QR code to validate my parking.
If I'm gonna be paying luxury prices for açai bowls that cost more than a Smoothie King down the street… Then I'm gonna expect a menu that's curated with thoughtful ingredients, plucked for purpose -- not because the item was on an affordable pallet in a warehouse next to the buckets of jam and the half eaten sucker some kid put down after he ran it through his sister's hair.
Again, the parking situation completely ruined my experience. My observation about your ingredients is just the mass-produced-Kirkland cherry on top.
The only place a customer should ever be second-guessing their decision to eat somewhere is at a mall food court or a Checkers burger at three in the morning.
It's also ridiculous that my experience was so bad for my pockets that I spent 40 minutes writing this review opposed to playing "Animals & Coins" on my iPhone, which is a fame that's also a complete waste of money and time (but at least it's not a surprise).
Now for the good: the employees are very nice, the restaurant is clean and The açai bowls and smoothies are still good.
Please get a sign that tells people where to park (and also hide the...
Read moreE+Rose Wellness Cafe & Bodega at Peabody Plaza was such a relaxing & pleasant experience!!
We have been going to E+Rose for years, and we love the WEHO (Wedgewood/Houston) location, over by the fairgrounds. But since this brand new location is right across the street from Crema (our favorite music city coffee spot), it is so convenient…and now we will be stopping by this location regularly.
Of course, E+Rose has coffee/lattes/drinks as well, so we get those, too, at times! Their wonderful smoothies, superfood bowls, healthy meals, and an array of delicious and nutritious snacks and treats, make this food spot one of our go-to’s in Nashville.
Thank you E+Rose for opening this beautiful, new and huge...
