What a disappointment! We arrived around 12:30 to an empty store with a sign that said “knock” on it. We knocked for ten minutes when finally the young woman came out from the back room playing with her phone. We came here to spend a lot of money on a custom sofa and she had absolutely no desire to assist us nor did she offer any information on any sofa. She told us to look around and let her know if we had questions. After doing so, she drastically misquoted the price of a sofa and couldn’t bother herself to let us out of the store which was locked. When spending money, (or attempting to spend money) on luxury items, one would expect for the sales associate to show the slightest bit of interest in the client. This is possibly the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. I placed an order for some chairs a month ago. They charged my credit card but I received no emails/updates regarding shipment. After calling and emailing them, I was given three delivery dates. Each time, I had to ask someone to wait at my home and no shipment or phone call arrived. Now, after speaking to someone named Anthony, I was able to get a tracking number and told to call myself to figure out what’s going on. I was told they would arrive on the 22nd and again no call or delivery. I’ve asked for a refund so I can order chairs from a different place and all I was given was they have no control over the delivery. I would stay as far away from this retailer...

We went in to find a new sofa for our new place, and we bought the sofa displayed for floor sale which came with a huge markdown and is readily available. Otherwise it will take couple months for the sofa to be made and shipped here. However, I do think the sofa quality will worth the wait if you are not in a hurry.

Delivery is on time as they said, the sofa is the exact one we tried, service was great and informational.

Alchemy had some really great designs, but at the pricier end. I'll definitely recommend ppl with a bit higher budget to Alchemy, the quality is much higher than most...
