Eat House Kings Square — Restaurant in Western Australia

Started new job last week and the team at this Cafe are nothing but amazing, helpful, kind and the service is just above what id expect from a city establishment.

When its busy they work as a team to keep the traffic rolling fast.

They greet me by name, they start conversation and check in how I am.

Today wasn't my finest morning. They greeted me as always amazingly, bashed my coffee order out like I was VIP.

The other day they offered me lunch deal, come back and they'll throw it together, unfortunately I came after they sold out and they suggested next best option.

I had high hopes for this café, but my experience was completely overshadowed by what I saw during my visit. While I was there, a grown man—who appeared to be in a managerial or ownership role—was loudly shouting at staff right in front of customers. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and frankly upsetting to witness.

No one deserves to be spoken to like that, especially not in public. It created a really tense atmosphere and made me question how the staff are treated behind the scenes. The food and coffee could be great, but no level of quality makes up for that kind of behavior. I won’t...

Food is ok, but I have some serious concerns about hygiene standards.

Pigeons seem to be persistently trying to get through to the kitchen at the back and the staff make no effort in shoo-ing them away, which makes me wonder are they being actively fed? At the very least their presence shouldn't even be tolerated.
