I wrote this comment base on my 4-night stay in a suite.

Convenient in terms of location, but not user-friendly in terms of the hospitality during my stay.

No reception counter: Please be aware of you have to spend another round of follow-up to go through online registration process before you can obtain access to the building. Otherwise, you will be standing outside. So, this is NOT recommend to AD-HOC last minute booking traveler.

No stand-up shower in the suite: They provided a really nice bath tub. But there is no drainage around the tub. So its very likely to mess around if you take shower on the tub.

No everyday cleaning service: Only available for every 3 nights. Well, for environment issue, as they claimed. But they do provide clean towels as you required.

Only virtual access key code: They claim this is for digitization. Please be aware of that if you are not familiar with tech. You have to download an app to load the key. So it’s something extra you have to do and register. If not, you have to memorize the passcode by your own.

Could be more welcoming: If they provide any bottle water., it would be more convenient. Well, they do offer free teabags and coffee capsules. But, please note that, it’s non-refillable according to my 4-night stay.

No smart TV facility. They claim they are a modern accommodation, and go digitalization (as said before). But their TV has no smart app function, like Netflix YouTube, Disney+? Even I have my own account, i cannot watch in room during my stay.

Lastly, the only merit is, it looks modern and nice, Instagram-able. But… this is reflected in the cost. Isn’t it? Other than this, the facility? Well, sigh,...

I recently stayed at Mottl House during my first trip to Prague, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience!

Perfect Location – The hotel’s central location made exploring the city incredibly easy. Everything was within walking distance, and the nearby trolley provided convenient access to farther spots.

Stunning Historic Building – The building itself is absolutely beautiful, combining old-world charm with modern touches.

Modern, Thoughtfully Designed Rooms – I stayed in a Superior Double room, which felt brand new and was impeccably designed with great attention to detail. High ceilings, large windows, a comfortable bed, and a sleek marble bathroom created an inviting and relaxing space.

Excellent Shower – The shower had fantastic water pressure and was always nice and hot.

Responsive and Helpful Support – Although there’s no physical reception, the phone support was quick and efficient. I had an issue with not receiving my registration confirmation, but they resolved it promptly, which gave me peace of mind.

Immaculately Clean – Both the rooms and the entire hotel were spotless, showing their commitment to cleanliness and maintenance.

Extremely Quiet – The unit was unbelievably quiet. The windows blocked out noise so well that I could hardly believe I was staying in the heart of the city.

Solid and Reliable WiFi– The WiFi was fast and consistent.

If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay in Prague, I highly recommend...

Absolutely Horrible Stay — Avoid at All Costs

The cleanliness was appalling — the entire place was filthy. When I asked housekeeping for assistance, they refused to bring even basic items like water or napkins, saying they could only provide tissue for the restroom. No actual cleaning was done.

The motel reeked of a foul odor throughout, including inside the elevator, which was extremely slow and poorly maintained. Even worse, you have to climb 6–7 stairs just to reach the elevator — a serious issue if you’re carrying luggage or traveling with elderly family, kids, or anyone with mobility concerns.

Noise at night was relentless, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Light sleepers — steer clear.

Customer service was equally disappointing. It took 2–3 days to get any sort of reply — if they responded at all.

I also witnessed multiple guests struggling daily just to get the access code to enter the building. Many had to walk or drive 10 minutes to a completely different hotel just to resolve the issue. That level of inconvenience is unacceptable.

There is no proper shower — just bathtub. The bathroom was clearly neglected.

Save yourself the stress — skip this place. Spend your money at The W or Julie’s Hotel instead. This motel is absolutely not worth your...

I absolutely disagree with 2.7 stars for this place. Communication with staff could be an issue because it is only via email (Perhaps not acceptable for each one). However I have experience to call in working hours and get support and service. BUT! Perfect location, nice space, very good bathroom, really good cleaning, stable internet via WiFi (even for multiple devices). We love Prague, and next time we will stop here again. IMHO good value for the price. Photos I shot on leaving, after a week in the room.
