Bugsy's Bugsy's is the place when you want a Cuban cigar with your drink: there is a plethora of cigars of different sizes and shapes displayed in the humidor right next to the entry door. The bar dominates Bugsy’s more modern room (Bugsy’s looks more like an jet-setting first-class airport lounge rather than somebody’s Victorian library), with a few smaller and larger tables around it. The bartenders are clearly skillful and their plays on well-known cocktails are great. Zuzi had the best drink of our little bars excursion lately - a gin-based gimlet - at Bugsy’s. The gelatin-based foam Mojito also seems very interesting, although it is designed for larger groups. On top of all that, we like their playlist: modern and nearly disco-like, but unobtrusive. Bugsy’s also focuses on Champagne so this is the place to go to have a glass or two… or ten, although L’Fleur’s selection is a bit more interesting we think.
Bugsy’s Bar– An American-style cocktail bar with Czech flare
When the fashion events end, this is where the editors and beautiful people go. It’s the bar that introduced the mojito to the Czech public and was ranked as one of the best cocktail bars by Newsweek International. Cocktailicious (delicious cocktails made by Bugsy’s) prices start at around 135CZK for short drinks, Sake Cocktails...

On the one hand, we had a great evening here for my birthday with absolutely wonderful drinks and atmosphere at fair prices.
On the other hand, when coming back a couple of days later not dressed just as nicely and without a reservation, the waiter was quite unwelcoming, saying she did not know if anything was going to be free at any point in time and asking us to stand for a while despite multiple tables being free after 22:30 (22:00 is last time you can reserve a table). So it really seemed like they did not want our business and we left.
Pity, I really enjoyed the first evening but the second ist experience makes me hesitant to come...
Read moreClassy but dark and noisy place. Their is a nice bar to seat at. Service is good. Nevertheless, we were disappointed by the drinks.
Their menu is incredible. It is literally a little book with chapters where drinks are sorted by type and complete description of each drinks with its origin. Cherry on the cake, beautiful illustrations accompany chapters. My favorite is Batman bringing drinks on a tray to a bunch of gangsters robbing a bank.
Yet we were very disappointed by the drinks. While well presented, they tasted watery as if the bartenders were too greedy to put any alcohol in our glasses to drive the...
