🍽️ Review: Istanbul Kebab – Prague, Czech Republic
If you're exploring Prague and craving a flavorful, quick halal meal, Istanbul Kebab is a go-to spot for both tourists and locals alike.
🔹 What I Loved: ✅ Halal-Friendly: A great option for Muslim travelers looking for halal-certified food. ✅ Generous Portions: Their doner kebab plates and wraps are filling and tasty. ✅ Affordable Pricing: Very budget-friendly for Prague, making it ideal for students and backpackers. ✅ Quick Service: Perfect for a fast lunch or dinner on the go. ✅ Centrally Located: Often found near tourist spots and metro stations.
🔸 Things to Note:
Seating is limited in some branches, so it’s more of a takeaway or quick dine-in experience.
Quality may vary slightly by location, so check recent reviews.
📌 Recommendation: Great pick for those looking for halal, flavorful, and affordable food while sightseeing in Prague. Especially handy for Bangladeshi, Middle Eastern, and Asian travelers seeking familiar taste.

Read moreI am going to this kebab for more than 5 years. With the previous owner it’s was lovely, friendly and CLEAN place. Now when one’s you are going upstairs you can barely find a clean table, they just don’t care, and it didn’t happen just ones, 4 times in a row I went there, there were no any people (!) in there, but the tables (only one was clean) upstairs were dirty. I really don’t understand such disrespect to your customers.
In addition, today the worker decided to charge me 20%more, just because he wanted so🙃 I was always paying the same price which is in the MENU. But it wasn’t the problem, problem was that after I asked him nicely why he did like that he told me “you took extra salad!”(maybe 5 grams)I was NEVER charged for that (with old owner and with the new one). He was unkind and unfriendly , so even my friend who was with me, changed her mind and reduced buying from thy man. Normally workers are nice in the kebab, but it still...

I had only 10 € with me and met the chef. I asked him if that was enough to get two kebabs and a water bottle. By water bottle I actually meant soft drinks, but the €10 was not enough. Nevertheless, he decided to give me my food and drinks. My friend and I took some soft drinks and he said, you wanted a water bottle, not soft drinks, yet he gave it to me. After I ate, I thanked him.
With this story I want to say that it is a kebab store that loves its customers and its work and not because of the money. Of course, money will always be a partial reason, but with this story, I think the reason he did this is because he loves his kebab shop or his customers, respektivly.
If i ever will be in Prag again, I will go to this nice Kebab shop.
many greetings from...
