Jacob's Little Italy — Restaurant in Prague

I have been to this restaurant 3 times with work colleagues for lunch and unfortunately the same situation keeps repeating itself. The restaurant tries to look fancy but food is above average expensive, the portions are quite small and the taste of the food is rather average.

On our last visit, 2 colleagues and I ordered broccoli gnocchi with chicken meat, and after ordering one more portion for another colleague who was late, we saw that they just took the last portion from the already cooked ones (they have an open kitchen here). To make matters worse, the resulting portion was the size of an appetizer and somehow they forgot to add the chicken meat. After asking where the chicken is, the waiter looked bit surprised and then we were offered a 20% discount.....

This place is a little gem! The food is absolutely amazing. And it tastes as great as I looks. Appearance of the dishes resemble high cousine - colorful, appealing and drives you to try the food. I ordered the supreme chicken and it was a great combinatiom of rich flavour, excellent spices and wide selection of side treats (mashed batat, ravioli, vegetables). Another great thing about this place is service. It is excellent: waiter was attentive, gentle and pleasant. Seems like he is enjoying his work. I will surely come back for more, want to taste each piece of little Italy. And...

Place that I ended up in by an accident but should be marked in bold on the food culinary map of Prague. The menu is well craved selection of just the right amount of seasonal dishes, one can feel freshness of ingredients and precission and love it was prepared with. I was absolutely surprised by the quality of the cuisine. This is a place to come back to and spread...
