L’Osteria Palác Kinských — Restaurant in Prague

We visited this Italian restaurant twice during our short stay in Prague — and that alone says a lot. The food was absolutely outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and served in incredibly generous portions. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations in both taste and quality.

On our first visit, we were served by a lovely young woman whose service was warm and attentive. It was my friend’s birthday, and the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary treat — such a thoughtful gesture that made our evening even more special.

During our second visit, we were served by a man, and I would say his service was more average. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked the friendliness and attention we experienced the first time.

That said, the overall experience — the food, the freshness of the ingredients, and the atmosphere — was excellent. We would definitely come back again. Perhaps just a little more training for some of the staff would...

I need to start with the food that is amazing everything was good expect the pizza that I will write later but when the waiter is so no nice and unfriendly your meal was ruined. From the start he didn’t come and we ask him like 3 time until he arrived and all time try to ignore us. When we get all the food together like we ask we saw that the pizza was cold, it feel like they take it from the fridge, we try to talk with the waiter but he just ignores us until we need to stand and ask him and he said ok but and choose to continue to ignore and just stand for more couple of minutes and to do nothing instead to come, so we went to the manger that was super nice and he change the pizza to new one and not charged. The night before was my girlfriend’s birthday, and we had been to a restaurant where, unfortunately, they didn’t even have a candle. The following evening, we walked into this wonderful place. If I could give 10 stars to the outdoor area, I absolutely would!

We ate well and drank well too. Luckily, they didn’t just bring a simple candle… but one of those fountain candles that shoot up a beautiful flame — and it was served right on top of the tiramisu. A truly special touch!

The staff was very welcoming, and I want to compliment them for their hard work and great organization, especially given how big the place is. Waiting times were minimal, and the outdoor space inside the building creates a uniquely romantic atmosphere.
