I recently had a truly terrible experience at this restaurant. It began with my order of Salmon with baked potatoes, which unfortunately resulted in a severe case of food poisoning just 40 minutes after consuming the meal. Frantically searching for a restroom to relieve myself, I found myself running through the restaurant, desperately in need of assistance. Regrettably, there was no waiter to be found, exacerbating the situation further. The service was utterly deplorable, to say the least. In fact, the quality of service was so poor that I could have easily left without paying, as there was no one available to close my tab. Eventually, after much effort, I managed to find a waiter who helped me settle my bill. While interacting with this waiter, I requested his assistance in calling a taxi to ensure that I could leave promptly. Astonishingly, he disappeared downstairs, leading me to instinctively follow him and inadvertently catch a glimpse of their kitchen. What I saw was nothing short of appalling—a dirty and unsanitary environment that clearly did not meet any acceptable standards for food preparation. The mystery behind my food poisoning suddenly became evident. To my dismay, another individual arrived and informed me that they were unable to call a taxi for me. Instead, I was advised to walk a certain distance to find one. This was common knowledge to me, but I was aware that the taxis found on the street often overcharge compared to those booked in advance. I attempted to explain this simple concept to the staff, only to be met with feigned ignorance and a complete lack of willingness to assist. It was abundantly clear that their attitude was one of "I don't want to help you, so I will pretend not to know how." In total, I ended up spending 1000 DKK in this horrendous establishment, which I made sure to express to the staff. However, they continued to mumble and feign ignorance, showing no remorse for the dreadful experience they had subjected me to. The food was of poor quality, the service was abysmal, and the overall experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly advise others to avoid wasting their time and instead seek out an alternative dining venue in Copenhagen to enjoy their special...

After trying to find a place to sit without reservation on the 2nd day of Christmas (Danish definition) - we walked into this restaurant with no expectation. First impression: the place only had 2-3 waiters (did not know what the other lady was doing) and service is a bit slow; compared to the other restos they are about 50% full. Overall that time, we are just happy to get a place to sit. We ordered the smorgasbords (open sandwich) - one with the fried fish, poached fillet and caviar and the other with shrimps and caviar; and one onion rings. The food came fairly quickly and we thought the dishes were actually quite well made and tasty. The fried fish complemented the texture and slight sourness of the shrimps while the poached fish went well with the sour white sauce. My partner had the shrimps which was quite a generous portion - we finished both dishes. I would recommend the place and the dishes - service may be an issue (they are slow but the waiters are friendly) but in the event the other popular restaurants in the stretch are booked; this is a...

Story time: Last time i drank coffee was when i went to Canada🇨🇦 in 2018 because Erik told me to try Tim Hortons. 3 days ago we reached Denmark🇩🇰 the crew went to the city, we took some pictures, we ate a dannish style hot dog and then went on to get something hot to drink. My buddy asked me “what do you want?” i replied back to him “anything”, so he got me some irish coffee not knowing that i don’t like coffee (except the way it smells, in food and desserts). 2 mins after i got it, we were about to go hop on the boat when i slipped because i didn’t see black ice underneath my feet and I literally showered in coffee, one of the guys working in the restaurant saw the scene told me to wait for a bit and offered me another one.

Moral of the story: Coffee is not for me i’ll stick to tea 😅, and i gave a 5 stars to this place because of their generosity and their...

Decent food, good service, and probably the best vibrant atmosphere for dining. After a tiring day ending in Nyhavn, we were looking for vegetarian options, and this place was a godsend. What are the odds of finding an American style diner in the middle of seafood loving Nyhavn? They had very good, diner style veggie options. Definitely on the pricier side as expected, being located in a prime location. Outdoor seating was a little cramped, but hyggelig. Loved the indoor diner decor, a little piece of home away from home. Kiddos enjoyed playing Foosball inside.
