This was at MOA. Our experience was absolutely bizarre because of the waiter. Older bald man with tattoo sleeves. At first he was ok. Came to our table 3 times asking if we were ready to order. After we got appetizers, everything changed. He stopped coming to our table except when he came and removed our menus without saying a word. Why would he take them? He walked past us several times until I caught his attention and said we were ready to order dinner. After that he was a bit more attentive but during most of our interactions, he never said a word. After he decided we were done, he walked up to our table with the handheld ordering/paying device. Told us the total was $119 then just stood there waiting for us to pay, like right then and there. We never saw a receipt or anything prior to paying. There were 2 upgrades we ordered that we didn't get so I would have liked to see the bill to see if we were charged but at this point we just wanted to leave. I reached in my purse to get cash. I wasn't ready to pay because I've NEVER had a server just stand there waiting like that. I guess I took too long because he left the device on our table and walked away without saying a word. We left the money on the table and left. It was so weird! He seemed almost angry like someone offended him or kicked his dog. He was short with us, non-verbal, and rude! I left there feeling offended. I can generally let things roll off my back but this was over the top. I left about an 11% tip which was generous imo. My husband said he's just an angry old man, but dude: if your salary is based on how you treat the customers you should really consider working with plants or something you don't have to speak to. This was our annual dinner after bringing our son to see Santa and this man put a damper on our evening. Again, the most bizarre experience/ waiter ever! I always leave at least a 20% tip even for mediocre service but this was actually horrible. I hope this man finds some joy, Jesus, gin, or something to help him. We never know what a person is going through so whatever it is, I hope he finds peace.
Oh, also the food was bland and nothing special at all. Very overpriced. Our son really wanted to go to a different restaurant and we should have listened.

Nachos w/Chicken Review: Chicken was unseasoned so it tasted like bland boiled chicken. The chicken was also present in large clumps and not distributed very well. To be honest the nachos tasted like something I could just throw together and microwave at home.
Bison Mushroom Swiss Burger Review: I got a medium rare and was pleased that the burger was indeed medium rare; however, the burger was already cold and the bottom bun was extremely soggy.
So I asked for a new bun then after waiting about 5 minutes for my new bun he came back and saw that I still didn't get it and assured me that it's on the way. Another few minutes go by and he walks by and still notices I still don't have a new bun. He told me that the bun is coming so I continued to wait. He came back with a new bun within the minute. It looked like it was thrown on the grill for about 10 seconds and taken off. I.e. the bun was basically out of the bag and straight to my plate. I realize that this may not be the sever's fault but come on guys.
My fries didn't taste 100% done either. They were obviously cold from the wait but upon receiving them, they looked like they were about 70% cooked so while edible they were far from a golden brown standard.
Price wise for a burger w/ fries, nachos w/chicken and 2 beers the bill came out to my $40+. Hugest waste of money an even bigger regret. Had I known the quality if the food I would have went to Burger Burger next door. Better yet I should have went...
Read moreHad a party of 12 on a Saturday. We were told a 45 minute wait. Which is TOTALLY fine. We were told 15 minutes in that they could seat us. Only half our party was there as we told the rest to take their time parking etc since we thought it was going to be 45 minute wait. Fast forward 30 minutes (When our table was supposed to be ready originally) the rest of our party is walking through the mall almost there. The manager had the audacity to come to our table and ask “who all has worked in a restaurant?” A couple of us raised our hands. He then proceeds to say “then you know what a big table like this can do to our servers pay when it’s not full”. mind you there was at least 5 open tables around us, so they weren’t full. RUDE essentially he was trying to ask us to move to a smaller table.. Which being I had been one of the people who said I’ve worked in a restaurant before. I know I would NEVER say that to a table. Mind you the half of us that were at the table had ordered drinks and apps so not like we were sitting there ordering nothing but water. the rest of our party shows up within a few minutes of the manager coming over. The manager did bring over a free app with 2 plates for our party of 12.. as he knew he was in the wrong here. However he dropped it at the table and said bluntly it’s on us and walked away. The server after this was very short and rude with us. Our food was cold and our drinks didn’t even have alcohol in them.
