Louie's — Restaurant in Leavenworth

Just go anywhere else. Ate here Thursday 7/17 around 10 AM. They couldn't get 1 single thing right.

I got the chicken & waffle, she got the avocado toast. Chicken was absolutely bland. 0 flavor. Had to dump a ton of salt and hot sauce on it to get it to taste like anything. They didn't season the chicken, or the breading. Waffle was super sweet and extremely dry. The entire thing just fell apart in crumbles. The batter needed a lot more moisture. When the dish has 2 ingredients you should be able to get either the chicken or the waffle right, at the very least.

For the avocado toast the toast was actually just burnt to shit. Really surprised they even felt like it was ok to serve that. Bacon was also way beyond well done. Extremely overcooked. 'avocado' was just unseasoned store bought guacamole. No taste of anything. Completely unseasoned, no flavor of onion, salt, lime, cilantro. Just extremely bland. The wait staff all looked like they were 15. My girl took two bites of the Avocado toast and sent it back. Server decided she'd take $8 off our bill? Instead of just removing the burnt flavorless pile we didn't eat, we still had to pay for half of it. Service wasn't good, I mean obviously they're just kids doing their best but....some additional training or adult supervision would be good for them.

After really enjoying the service and food 5 years ago, this was our first food stop and after all this time it is still great. I had the breakfast wrap that was loaded with eggs, hashbrowns (just enough but not to much) bacon, onion and cheese in a thin, toasted wrap. Perfect mix of ingredients seasoned well and thoroughly enjoyed. Diane had the simple eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and toast. Once again, well seasoned and tasty. We stopped in at 11am on Saturday and though Diane wanted breakfast I wanted lunch, so when the server said breakfast only until 12 I went to take the menus back to the counter. Karen, the owner, said they would take care of me so we stayed. Good choice. I had the club sandwich on sourdough and Diane had french toast with bacon and eggs. Everything was fresh and wonderful but one of the things that made the lunch enjoyable was the personal service. Karen greeted every customer and personaly checked on each one. Lunch was busy and hecktic but she not only worked it with a pleasant smile but with an attitude that Diane mentioned showed that she truely loved what she was doing. This one comes highly...

Extremely rude hostess. First restaurant I ever went to that refuses service to my toddler. All I wanted was you to rinse the bottle. Your extreme condensing tone and unwillingness to help a toddler with his bottle are not appreciated. I am extremely surprised anyone would treat a mother and child like that after we spent a good amount of $$$ dining there. You don't realize we have come from a different country for a vacation here, and you purposely ruined the breakfast experience.

Update: I didn't request you to "wash" it for me. All I wanted was to rinse it so that we could use the bottle while waiting for others to be done. You made it sound like running through a dishwasher was a huge hassle for you, which you suggested, and we didn't even ask for. I requested and repeated again that can you please rinse it with water. How is it different from washing my used cutlery for the next guest but unwilling to rinse the bottle so that a mother can finish her breakfast in peace and not treat her like that in front of others. That is not at all family oriented gesture. Like I said this is the first time, it has happened. You also made a face and said something similar to" oh you want me to fill this up too".
