Wow. Just .... wow 😖😮😖
I really don't do traditional fast-food writing, lest the review is top notch (ala my girl Dixie - the Queen on Mt Moriah) I mean - hey, it's fast food right 😐 what really are your expectations in this day/time?
Well, enter Wendy's (or In my case, don't), where void of the nationwide "food-shortage" 🙄 and the evident personnel shortage (aka, poor management, brand support absence, 'let the cook run the store' philosophy 🤷🏽♂️ etc, etc.), apparently 🤔 there is a "service-shortage", a "straw-shortage" a "frosty-shortage" and a dining room closure catastrophe. All in one visit.
So, the line was not long, yet... moving extremely slooooooooww. The wait was about 1 or 3 minutes before I (impatiently so) decided, let me just go in and order the food.
I enter, reading a well typed/printed professional sign that said... "Carry out" [or take out or something] from 11 to 8pm only - or near that, just know that our visit was inside the time perimeters. I enter and am welcomed by a growl of a disposition noted - "baby, the dining room closed" I look around, see someone standing in the corner, waiting on food, yes... and I say, "But, 🤔 I am in the dining room, we are in the dining room".
She, as scoldish as an old man about his well manicured lawn, then repeats (as if this is the last time before I call the police), "Baby, the dining room is closed!"
I, intrigued, asked, "Is the sign on the door a misprint, or out of date- I can take it down for you if so? It is not 8pm you know."
Soliciting sympathy or assistance or I dunno, she exclaims - " It's only 3 people back here."
Apparently the person in jeans and I am bout to go downtown attire was NOT one of the three, as she was just leaning on the wall looking at me... but wait, maybe she was one of the three, just not doing anything 🤷🏽♂️
Anyway, I go back to the car (which is in the same exact spot as before my 5 minute wasted exchange so (let's call it 10 minute wait now).
Fast forward through only two cars waiting ahead of us (only another 10 minutes).
Okay, I know I know, why didn't we leave)? Cause it was oh so H🔥T, azheck and I wanted a cold frosty before the Jazz thingy at the park.
So we make it to the window of the most popular fast food place in the world 😏 🙄 😐 and are greeted by a voice thay sounds like it is speaking from ears that have been getting cursed out all day.
Order being placed and even before I get to it, my Wendy's date says, "You should record this." Me, as naive as I am, look like "Why?"
Answered with a grin, "Cause they ain't gone have your frosty. Watch."
I look, exasperated, and picked on - but inside thinking 'GotDARN! Bet she right'. ((Sigghhhh)).
I pull out the phone to record the video, albeit, seemingly a little slow I was, because the dried, drained words of, "We ain't got no Frosty." - or is it Frosties, I was thinking?) came creeping through the speaker before I knew it.

Read moreToday, I had the unpleasant experience at this location. Not only was valuable time wasted with the most rude, disrespectful, and non-customer friendly MANAGER.. A manager by the name if Akia. First at the window while my friend was placing the order she was very rude, abrupt, and did not allow her to complete her order. She disrespectfully enforced her words towards my friend using terms in an angry manner as I said, I asked you.. That is no way to act during a service request. We asked for our food to be made fresh/well done. Once at the window her harshness worsened as if she did want to be at work today or want a job at all. Her attitude was very aggressive once we made it to the window. Being in the backseat there is no way that I should have felt that display of her negative behavior. Akia proceeded to tell my friend they were out of the drink I wanted, my friend turned to me to advise and to find what I wanted instead. Akia stopped her in mid-sentence without having the patience to wait for a response, rushing her to respond to her. This is ridiculous and I will not return to this establishment and tell all my co-workers, friends, and family, that work in the area to not go there and give this location any business. We received the food and as we checked and found that the food was not made fresh, not even hot.. the MANAGER stated that she watched the nuggets get dropped. I should have taken a picture had I known that this would be my experience today. So we returned the food and asked for it to be made over and her (Akia) only go more irritated and at that point my friend requested her money back. While all this was going on my friend asked her, her name and she would not give it. My two friends in the front had another interaction with another young lady who was nice. Akia held my friend's debit card and told her she could not give her a receipt showing her refund and that she could take a picture of it. They exchanged the receipt for the card and Akia slammed the window. What a display of poor, unfriendly, unprofessional customer service. As a manager your attitude and behavior reflects down to your team so I can only imagine how she is with the associates and how their attitudes could possibly display as her does with customers. Lunch break wasted with no food and a horrible experience. Sad, I even had to choose to give this location 1 star and the manager needs to go back to training and learn...
Read moreIf I could give this place a minus 5 star I would! The attitude of the employees is a direct reflection of the manager. Came through the drive thru and order only spicy 4 piece chicken nuggetd a value fries. The cashier said they just dropped nuggets. She told me to pull up to rail while they cooked and it would be brought out me fresh and fresh fries. 20 mins later I'm still waiting. Ine of the bus guys opened the door and saw me blocking cars because I'm still in the drive through where they told me to pull up. He asked what was I waiting on. I told him he goes back in. I decided to go in also because of his confused look. When I got in an approached counter I said, excuse me I'm still waiting in my order. Told them what it was they were all looking at each other like what nuggets. Someone went to drive thru and asked the cashier she looks at me and said oh yes. Then someone starting trying to put it together. I asked for fresh needless to say it wasn't and fries were room temp. I was handed a bag of food and everyone kept doing what they were doing. I asked for the mgr and one girl said that's her. I asked did she tell her I wanted to see her, she said yes. I asked her to ask again. The mgr finally came over and said...yes. I explained. I had waited 20 extra mins after order was taken and I was forgotten. He exact words were" Ok you got your food and they made a mistake". I said kit would have been nice for someone to apologize for the inconvenience. She said, they did, I said no mam, no one has. She said , well sorry. Do you want a free drink. I said No!
