Acme Feed & Seed — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

First impression was good, the hostess and security gentleman were really nice. It looked crowded downstairs so I went upstairs. Not very busy, maybe seven tables between two waitresses? I wait for over 10 minutes before I said excuse me to one of the waitresses. I told her I haven’t been waited on yet and told her how long I was waiting. She didn’t apologize or anything like that, she just said, well there are only two of us working up here. I asked for a water to drink. I was going to order food too. It took another like 5 minutes without a water to get up and start walking downstairs. When she saw me get up, she got the water and started walking towards me as I was already halfway to the stairs. I told her I was going downstairs stairs and she seemed like she couldn’t care less. I sat at the bar downstairs. Hoping for better service. It took a normal amount of time to get a drink and order food. Their Mac n’ cheese is actually really good! When my drink was empty, I put it towards the ledge so she could see since she hadn’t come over or filled it up yet. I finally waived down the gentleman who served me my food. Super nice kid. I asked him to fill up my water. When he grabbed the glass she immediately came over and said she would do it. When she gave me my water back, she sat it down rather aggressively and water spilt out of the glass towards me onto the bar. Take what you may from this review. I probably won’t be back...

This was my first time at this venue. This place offers unique dining experiences as well as live music.

Walking in the main floor, there were is a crowd of people waiting to place their order and the restaurant was already full by 7 PM. On the first floor there is a great selection of food that compliments the lively, fun atmosphere.

We ordered a few dishes off of the menu at the counter which were delivered to us while we enjoyed the music. We were able to take that food to the second floor and eat at those tables while ordering food on that floor!

Each floor offers a mostly unique menu and has a different ambiance than other floors! while there is a rooftop location at this venue, I did not go up to it.

The food was presented well and tasted really good. Service was very friendly and attentive, which made everything that much better! We ordered the dry rub ribs , brisket sandwich, and chicken wings. Everything was absolutely wonderful and the brisket was probably one of the best I've had (full of flavor and moist).

The restaurant is situated on the east end of Broadway.Therefore, there is plenty of night life around the restaurant, which adds to the fun-feeling. I will only caution that the music on the first floor is really loud. So, if you are sensitive to loud noise you may consider sitting on the second floor and bringing the food up there. Otherwise, bring a pair of earplugs!

I arrived in town today and hadn't eaten all day. Was looking forward to trying the brisket quesadilla with jalapeno Gouda, peppers, sauteed onions, accompanied by homemade tortillas and Salsa Verde. Originally I asked for them with no onions. When the entree arrived by a food runner, the only thing on it was the brisket and cheese. After about 10 minutes, the food runner was passing by so I asked him about the peppers, to which he replied, let me get your server. Another 5-7 minutes went by before the server showed back up. When I asked him about the peppers, he stated they come premixed with the onions, to which I replied, had I known this when I ordered, I would have told you to leave them all on the quesadilla. So, he brought another one within 3-5 minutes (surprisingly quick) slammed full of almost raw onions and only two peppers. The brisket and jalapeno Gouda had absolutely no flavor, and the homemade tortillas chips were cold on both plates and tasted stale. We never saw the server again until my friends were ready for their checks. I didn't even bother to finish my food. My friends and I were also never asked if we wanted another cocktail or beverage besides the first ones we had upon arriving, so our cups remained empty. Unfortunately, my experience was horrible and was not the way I wanted to start off my first visit...
