Odie's — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Where do I start? When we first came in someone told us to sit wherever- so we did. Eventually we got the memo that no one was going to come up to us unless we were sitting at the bar. So we move to the bar. We sit there for 5 minutes before someone who was not the bartenders asked us if we were helped. He got us our first round after bending my ID and clearly over analyzing it. My shot tasted like pure cough syrup. Finally, 10+ minutes later, the bartender asked us if we were getting food. I also ordered another drink, one of the buckets. It was supposed to be a lemonade with liquor and red bull- but this tasted & smelled disgusting. The bucket itself smelled disgusting. Our food was fine. But the steak skewers is nothing to brag about I probably would’ve been happier just having a grilled cheese but they recommended the steak. Lol. No one checked on us until we were finished and cashed out. I’m not sure if it was because I looked young, it was assumed I could not be of age that created the lack of service, or what.

As a bartender and server myself, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Maybe if the drinks were consumable, but that’s...

We had a great time at Odie’s! The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because the food was a little underwhelming. We got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and the Classic Smashburger. To be honest, we would have preferred like KFC or Zaxby’s over that chicken sandwich and steak n shake over the burger. For $15, i was expecting a really good chicken sandwich and honestly it was not very flavorful and a little too salty. It was edible, but not the best. The menu was limited as well. The atmosphere was great, the staff were very friendly!! The live music was fantastic as well. If you are looking to have a great time with some friends or just love live music, this is a great place, just don’t seek it out specifically for food. (To be fair, I was very hungry before I arrived and looked at the menu before I arrived as well so maybe what I built up in my head for the flavor profile of the chicken sandwich just didn’t match...
