Buddy Love's BBQ - 9th Street — Restaurant in Ocean City

My son and I stopped in this morning to check out the Breakfast Buffet. You won’t be disappointed with the options everything is freshly made with a southern touch. Have a delectable waffle or pancake with their homemade honey butter that ultimately in my book beats Texas Roadhouse version any day. It’s hard to find places that put that extra love into their food and this place hit all the right spots. Service with a smile and helpfulness when ordering was an extra treat. Came back for the BBQ in the evening. Hands down the best I’ve had besides my own in this area. Ribs were fall off the bone delicious with a sweet and smoky sauce that was unbeatable and definitely should be sold by the gallon. Don’t forget to get their sweet cornbread accompanied by their honey butter. You will not leave feeling hungry and no worries the boardwalk is less than a block away so you can keep that beach body. Went for breakfast, ordered ham (tasted like canned ham) and cheese omelet (and it came out luke warm) came with toast(cold but not burnt though), also had tater tots (cold). My granddaughter had a egg cheese scrapple bagel and said it was hot; it was an ample sandwich. When the waitress asked how it was I told her, she asked if I wanted it heated; but I've always thought food sent back get SPECIAL ADDATIVES. If you know what I mean!! Then a man came over, I guess he was the cook, very indignantly told me how it came out. It seems he was trying to intimidate me. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR BREAKFAST, MAYBE HE'S BETTER AT THE BBQ PART OF...

Not recommended. I love smoked meats, especially brisket, which I eat often. I got the brisket sandwich, and it was utterly subpar. Didn't even taste like it was smoked. The menu description said it is "piled high," which it certainly wasn't. Way overpriced for the amount of low-quality meat provided. They put BBQ sauce on the brisket, which was not mentioned in the menu description. I'm guessing the sauce is to try to hide how mediocre the meat is.
