I am a former employee of this store my name is Blake just so I have nothing to hide. The reason orders get messed up as they do is because the GM concerns himself with the stats seen by overhead and knows how to cheat them. He gets orders to be bumped off the screen before they are made which will make it appear as if the order is ready before it really is. The biggest problem with this is it causes people to unknowingly skip parts of orders thinking it is complete when it really isn’t. This causes people to show up and have to wait and possibly wait even longer if they’re one of the unlucky few who have had part of their order missing. Drivers also will have orders to take that show up before they’re ready due to a timer for the oven allowing us to dispatch when our food may not even be in the oven. This allows it to make it appear as more deliveries are on time than actually are because management sometimes dispatches drivers before the order is even completed and some occasions of this involve partial orders coming out and leaving a driver scrambling to get the rest of the order made while they’re dispatched to take multiple orders, we now have 2 customers who think we’ve been on the way for 15 minutes before we are even capable of leaving the store. Instead of showing accurate job performance which would show the need for more employees and actually get this store the help it needs. The little queen running the place tries to cheat it to not hear anything from the overhead. It causes worse customer service all around. It causes drivers to deal with disgruntled employees who think we’ve been riding around with their food wondering what’s taking so long and some to stand out in cold/hot weather to help us spot them thinking we will be there anytime due to a hard to find location. Another note that you all should be aware of as customers is that not just pigeon forge corporate dominos has raised the delivery charge from 3.25-4.25 so yes you pay another dollar for delivery. About a month ago when it was 3.25 the driver would get about 1.50 and the 1.75 went to the store. Now we get .27 per mile as a driver. IN rural areas this could work the same or better for a driver but in pigeon forge where you have thousands of people in hotels within a half a mile it does not. We have occasional deliveries it works in our favor but that’s about 10%. MOST are within a mile or two tops. On a busy night we take over 20 deliveries and it typically costs us 20-25/night in earnings. Out of those say 20-25 deliveries PER driver, you pay dominos an extra dollar and they pay their drivers one less dollar. I’m mentioning this so you can see the greed. Realistically if they cut the pay on drivers as they did they already make another dollar per and don’t need to charge it to you - if they needed the extra dollar and charge you then why cut our pay? The pigeon forge store is kept alive by a small amount of decent employees but it gets no help. The DM ignored our cries for help for months last year and never paid any concern until dead season and that’s probablt because her overhead wanted to know why on New Year’s Eve everything was free and that’s because we only had a GM and 2 drivers to do everything. No deliveries were even taken til 4-5 hours most of the time was spent trying to prevent him from having a nervous breakdown. I can list other complaints to as a former employee but will leave those out. I’m only telling you what I’m telling you so as a customer you can understand the reason the situation is what it is. I’m also telling you this so the remaining drivers there you hopefully understand that despite dominos charging you more, are most likely bringing you your food for next to nothing so please tip them and don’t think that they’re getting much of that...
Read moreGood Evening, I recently visited store 6189 located in Pigeon Forge TN regarding a delivery order. I ordered pizza and wings via the online ordering service and received an estimated wait time of 53 minutes. After the 53 minutes I attempted contacted the store for 30 minutes with no answer. At this point I decided to drive to store 6189 to ask what was taking my oder so long. Upon arriving to the store there was a customer ahead of me who had cancel their order to a long wait as well. I was greeted by the cashier and explained my situation. She explained that the current wait time was 2 to 3 hours due to understaffing. She informed me the order went our for delivery at 9:56 however the driver was still 40 minute away. I informed the cashier I would just like a refund due to the time it would take for the pizza to be delivered. As the cashier was trying to print me a receipt a man claiming to be the general manager peeped his head around the corner and said, "Hurry up and give him a refund so he can hurry up and get the hell out." I was appalled the general manager of the store was speaking to a paying customer with this tone. I asked for the gentlemen name and his said, "Dont hurry about it, leave now or I will have you removed by the police." As a black man immediately felt discriminated against. When other patrons asked for a refund they were granted one without issues. I was very calm with the cashier as she explained the reason for the delay in delivery as I am a fellow industry worker. As a server and manager at a fine dining restaurant I can relate to being busy and understaffed. The way the general manager handled the situation was very unprofessional and uncalled for. I am very disappointed with the leadership at this establishment and hope he does not reflect the members of management at Domino's. After this experience I am very hesitant to order or refer anyone to this company for pizza or wings. The members of store 6189 need more assistance and training as it related to customer service. This was on family vacation and this experience has really inconvienced me and may family as we were trying to wind down and relax after a long day. I hope this complaint is used as a tool to ensure this does not happen to any other...
Read moreVery very disappointed. I order from dominos all the time at home and I’ve never had a problem at home. I understand places are short staffed but this is uncalled for. We started off by coming back from a show that had just ended around 9:45 pm we got to order dominos online at 10:05 pm and was so excited cause we was starving and had been trying to get dominos the past three nights . So we ordered a pizza, pasta, and salad. The delivery time was like an hour or something, we also have the dominos tracker which we was watching , the food came out of the oven at 1040 pm and was getting a quality check . At 1130 pm we hadn’t heard nothing it was still in “quality check” I was like okay maybe their alittle busy . 12:30 am in the morning rolls around and we hadn’t heard nothing so we all went to bed we was hungry and irritated … at 12:50 to 12:55 am we get a phone call from the delivery driver waking us up asking if we still wanted our order so I was irritated but said yes we will still take it , in which he showed up and I got the order and he left. I go in to eat to find out it was a totally different address not ours and the order was completely wrong the pizza and all . I call back and was really angry the lady answered and said thank you for calling dominos I’m sorry but where closed , I said we just ordered from you guys and we waited for close to three hours and our order was completely wrong and I told her what we ordered and she said well I know that’s wrong cause we don’t even sell pasta , IN WHICH THEY DO And she got really hateful then finally yelled for the manager after I got hateful back and was talking about me loudly in the back ground and said she wasn’t dealing with me , that I had an attitude from the git go. I ended up telling the manager I wanted my money back in which I went and got this morning, but that is the poorest service I’ve had in awhile!!!! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVICE . Do not go there guys!...
