ClimbZone at Mall of America is one of the most exciting and creative climbing experiences we’ve ever had! With over 40 uniquely designed walls, this place is an absolute dream for kids and adults alike. Each wall is bursting with color, imagination, and themed fun—it’s not just climbing, it’s an adventure. My kids had a blast climbing everything from Mount Rushmore to “rescuing Rapunzel” from her tower. The beehive wall, the bookshelf, and the dripping paint blocks were also huge hits. Everywhere you look, there’s something eye-catching and fun that makes the experience feel like play instead of just exercise. We climb often, and most places stick to traditional rock wall designs. ClimbZone takes it to a whole new level with variety, creativity, and climbs for all skill levels. Whether your child is a beginner or a confident climber, there’s something they’ll love. While I’m not a huge fan of the location due to Mall of America traffic and crowds, I totally understand why it’s there—it’s a smart business move and the space inside is very well-managed. Plus, they often have Groupon deals, which makes it an even better value! If you’re looking for a fun, physically engaging, and truly memorable activity, ClimbZone is a must-visit. My kids haven’t stopped talking about it since. We can’t wait to go back!

Ah, young Padawans and seasoned Jedi alike, ClimbZone calls to those who seek adventure and challenge. Within the grand halls of the Mall of America, towering walls adorned with themes of wonder and imagination await. Whether scaling Rapunzel’s tower or ascending the mighty lighthouse, climbers shall find their skills tested, their courage strengthened. The cost of such training? Reasonable, it seems. For 30 minutes, a mere $20.99 credits, while unlimited time demands $24.99 credits. For those stationed near this temple of climbing, monthly passes offer value—$14.99 credits for weekday access, $24.99 credits for any day, though a two-month commitment is required. Wise planning, this may be, for those who train often. Yet, a disturbance in the Force I sense. Charging $3.99 credits for all spectators, this is—greedy, it feels. A youngling should have their guardian without burdening them further. Inclusion, not taxation, should be the way of the climb. Still, the self-belay system ensures safety, and the spirit of fun and fitness thrives. A place to test one’s limits and grow, ClimbZone is. For those who seek adventure, strong in the Force, this place shall make you. May the climb be with you.

The ClimbZone at Mall of America is a super fun place for eager kids! There are so many walls to climb and they all have varying levels of difficulty. Our three girls, ages 11, 10, and 8 absolutely loved how fun and perfectly challenging this place was! I have to say the manager, Eric, was exceptional! He made sure all the kids’ harnesses were fitting properly and he took the time to help them problem solve challenging spots. He even spent time suggesting ways to make certain walls more challenging and would demonstrate routes for them to take. He made our experience so incredible! Thank you, Eric!

I'm afraid to leave a good review for fear that crowds will overrun this place but they deserve it too much! This is a PHENOMENAL climbing wall experience that is unlike any other I've ever seen. Tons of insanely clever and creative walls for your kids to challenge themselves both physically and mentally. 10 walls would have been a sufficient experience but they have almost 40! Each wall is beautifully designed and vastly unique from the other. Challenge your kid to climb Mt Rushmore, save the princess from Rapunzel's tower, conquer the Egyptian pyramids and way more! This experience requires a quick tutorial at the beginning on how to use the climbing clips but my 10 and 12 year old caught on quickly and were able to be on their own most of the hour. Parents may need to help younger children with the clips throughout their experience but it's not too bad and they have people...
