It was a delightful stay in the room, as it was clean, nicely furnished, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, providing a pleasant night's sleep, and the room itself was cozy, complemented by a charming little balcony. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. Firstly, the WiFi signal was not strong enough, which made it challenging to stay connected reliably. Additionally, there was no staircase available to access my room on the second floor. This meant that I had to carry my large luggage up the stairs without any assistance, as there was no reception or staff present in the building to offer support. Furthermore, despite the room being advertised as having a river view during the booking process, I was disappointed to find that there was no such view, which left me feeling deceived. Moreover, I believe the hotel could enhance its communication efforts by providing clear instructions regarding access to the hotel room through the message inbox. Upon arrival, I realized that it was a self-check-in hotel, but there were no instructions provided in advance. The only inquiry made was regarding my arrival time, which I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to read until I had already reached the hotel. Thankfully, I had a travel SIM card that enabled me to make phone calls; otherwise, I would have been standing in front of the hotel unsure of what to do. I believe the hotel could improve in this aspect to ensure a smoother and more convenient check-in...
Read moreWe recently stayed here for one night during our visit to Cesky Krumlov. The place is situated on a lovely narrow cobbled street and is a traditional looking building typical of those found in the town. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us ! It is situated about a minutes walk from the main square and close by to many restaurants and bars. The place itself is very rustic and quaint. We loved the decor and the traditional decor and liked the original features they had kept. We were informed that the building dated back more than a few hundred years ! The rooms were comfortable and clean and included all the things we wanted. If your looking for 5 star accommodation then look elsewhere however this place offers a traditional and rustic stay in the town of Cesky Krumlov. Would not hesitate in...
Read moreMe and my partner decided to go to Krumlov for a short day trip. ||We booked the accommodation very spontaneously so we were prepared to have a disappointment for the room cpild be like many other touristic spot (for example Prague). ||||But things came out just so surpringly wonderfu. Josef is a friendly, welcoming and sharing host. He had prepared us a warm room while we arrived. The property has no fancy kitchen or breakfast options. But with a warm and comfy room with some tea/coffee for free to use. The location is easy to find, only few meters to the square.||The only problem may just because the old house comes with bad soundproofing. Other than that it was a lovely stay over all. ||||It's nice value and will best suit travellers who like to stay closer to local. ||||Thanks for the great hospitality.Hope to see you...
