I usually get my hair cut at Supercuts. It’s convenient and right down the street. I ran into a buddy of mine who was looking dapper with a nice cut and sharply trimmed facial hair. Just a few days before, he was looking like island Tom Hanks in Castaway. He looked really sharp. I asked who cut his hair and he said Tiffany Dinh at First National Barber Shop.

My hair was way overdue and shaggy. I also have a very thick head of hair with cowlicks that point straight to the sky if cut wrong. So last Friday, I decided to try something different, and scheduled an appointment with Tiffany Dinh.

I sat in the chair and she immediately initiated a comfortable and interesting conversation. As she spoke, she circled the chair fluffing my hair while looking at it in the mirror. I could tell she was envisioning exactly what she wanted to do. She began cutting, paying attention to every detail, but swift. It was impressive. When she was done, my hair wasn’t too short. It was styled and held with no product.

Since then, I have received countless compliments on my hair and appearance. I never really thought about it before, but it feels good to regularly hear people say that you look handsome. I like it.
