Capriccio is a small and friendly restaurant with Italian cuisine in the heart of Prague.

Just a little off the beaten track, but still easy to get to, Capriccio has a manageable but tasty menu - not at the lower end of Prague's price scale, but tasty and comparatively free of boozehounds, making it just the place to grab a bite and relax with lighter fare and a little peace and quiet.

The staff is sometimes a little bit crazy, but very sympathetic and always friendly and eager to fulfill the wishes of the guests as best as possible.

Important for guests: No fast food is served and the kitchen is recognizably very small - so it can take a few minutes if many guests need to be served. Those who can cope with this and get involved will certainly not be disappointed.

I walked around this restaurant quite often and always liked how the facade looked pretty. We went there for lunch with a friend, as we could sit down under umbrellas and be shielded from rain.

I stopped in hoping for a peaceful, healthy dinner with a nice view. While the outdoor seating offered a pleasant atmosphere, the experience quickly soured.
