SCAMMERS! They hide a 12.5% tip in the bill, if you dont pay attention you will pay it regardless if you want or not, especially if you pay by card. They recap in front of you your order on the bill to draw yr attention to the first part of the bill, not the last one at the bottom, very far away, where the actual total is which is including the 12.5% tip. They show you the intermediary total, which is the correct one and showed very big and then they charge the one with the tip, which is on the bottom, much smaller. I ll attach a photo, so you ll not get scammed. Food is average at best. Stay away!!

REPLY TO RESTAURANT S REPLY: NO, the service charge is NOT optional, the full amount including the tip has been charged to my card without being asked! I even gave cash tip to waiter, not knowing I already tipped and she took it without even saying a word, that I m double tipping. SO YOU ARE...

We were added a 12.5% service fee which we didn’t ask for to be put on top. When we see this on the credit card machine and mentioned this, we were verbally spat at for not wanting to add a tip.
We then said that it may be usual to do so in Prague but not in the Czech Republic overall. We also said that we are not used to tipping culturally living in Sydney, Australia.
Another staff member had the audacity to come at us and share her half knowledge that apparently it would be normal to tip in Australia.
Tipping is meant to be voluntary and an expression of good customer service. If service staff live on precarious salaries, the service staff should ask for more money to their employers and not their customers.
Beyond the rude behaviour of entitlement, the service level was not even worth one star. The staff brought out an incorrect drink and lacked general manners of communication with customers when this was brought to their attention. Our bill could not be split for payment by two cards.
This restaurant is a phenomenon of over-tourism. We have experienced much better locales within a 10min walk from tourist hotspots. Don’t waste your time and money at this place. And please don’t tip for bad service. This is not the US where staff...

If Dante had added a tenth circle of hell, it would’ve been this restaurant.
We walked in, lured by the promise of “authentic Czech cuisine” and a waiter standing outside with a menu and a grin so forced it probably hurt. The decor looked like IKEA had given up halfway through assembling itself. It smelled like a mix of boiled cabbage and broken dreams.
We ordered goulash, which arrived lukewarm and tasted like it had been cooked during the Austro-Hungarian Empire and reheated ever since. The dumplings could have been used to patch potholes. My wife’s “beef” was either shoe leather or an elaborate prank. We still don’t know.
Service? Imagine asking a sleep-deprived raccoon for wine recommendations. Our waiter vanished for 40 minutes, possibly to milk the cow for our cheese plate, which never came. When we asked where it was, he shrugged and said, “Maybe tomorrow?”
The kicker? They charged us for bread we didn’t order, water we didn’t ask for, and “live music” which was a guy playing Despacito on a broken accordion.
Avoid at all costs. Eat your own socks first. At least they won’t try to upsell you garlic dip for 8 euros.
P.S the manager lady with glasses hates...
