Visiting Berlin once again, I decided to stop by your cafe, but unfortunately had an extremely negative experience.
That morning, there were two staff members working: a young, kind, smiling woman and a middle-aged man of Turkish or Arab appearance (wearing two bracelets - one blue, one yellow - on the same wrist).
I was in a very good mood that morning, having started the day with pleasant news, so I decided to drop into the cafe. I was wearing headphones and listening to music. I first wanted to use the restroom, and then place an order.
Upon entering the premises, I found the restroom (only with man&woman sign without any text). The man, with a displeased expression, said: “Do you need help?” I replied: “Yes, I’m looking for the toilet”. He immediately responded: “Go out, this toilet for cafe workers.” I explained: “I would like to visit and after that make an order,” but he began to force me out, closing the distance, touching me, and insisting: “Go out”.
As he escorted me out, he said: “You are not allowed,” and then repeated several times: “God Blessing you,” which made me very angry. I believe it is not up to him to decide when and how to bless me — this deeply offended my religious feelings and completely ruined my mood.
I left, but this incident continued to trouble me, so I decided to return and document the situation. I asked the staff for their names several times — they said something, but I did not want to rely on their word alone, so I requested to see their name badges. Both refused, arguing that the man was the owner of the establishment. When I asked if I could take their photo, they also declined. When I insisted on getting their names, they threatened to call the police, to which I had no objection.
At some point, the man tried to play on my sympathy, claiming that I had ruined his day and complaining that “all sorts of people come here” — but what did that have to do with me? I was neatly dressed and looked tidy. When I once again firmly requested his name, the man gave me an angry, furious look, to which I responded in kind.
The staff did not attempt to resolve the situation at all, instead resorting to manipulation. The man merely tried to justify himself by saying I was “unrespectful” because I was wearing headphones — but that should not concern him, as I need to stay connected at all times.
I would like to emphasize that the young woman behaved politely and tactfully, gave the man the floor, did not interrupt him, and said nothing inappropriate. There were no customers inside the café, only outside, so we were not disturbing anyone.
I consider this employee’s behavior absolutely unacceptable. He meets guests from all over the world every day and is expected to demonstrate professionalism. I kindly ask you to conduct an explanatory discussion with him. This incident was a serious emotional ordeal for me.
I am always available and ready to provide any additional information....

But yesterday morning i went with friends who speak farsi and there was a new guy (and a bit old) as soon as we approached to order the guy shouted wait! Then he started talking shit abt us in turkish asking other waiter :are they iranian, i hate iranian… one of us could speak turkish so we said in turkish whats the problem?? Then he proceeded to ignore us the whole time without any apology! Gave us coffees for inside while we ordered to takeaway and again he started shouting and blaming us. At this point we said we dont want their coffee anymore and wanted to leave. He came out of cafe on the street and said i wont allow u in here anymore!!!! I am very very disappointed with the service! Also surprised at how racist a person can be! If u cant control ur hateful racist behavior then u shouldn’t be working at a cafe where hundreds of ppl with different...
Read moreI was excited to try Exclusive Coffee for first time! I agreed with a friend to meet here, we were planning to have coffee and food. My friend was late so I was waiting for her to order. The waiter came twice to ask my order, I told him I was waiting for someone to do so. The second time, he told me I had to order or leave because it looked bad for the costumers to see the place full. Look how full the place was, just another table occupied and me. I told him that and he said I made them look bad…. So it wasn’t about how full the place was but my appearance. Just discrimination. Seems it’s really “exclusive”. I left the restaurant and went for my coffee and food to Einstein Kaffee that’s around the corner. I won’t try to buy in this...
