As a Palestinian I was very excited to have some middle eastern food. I decided to go with the veggie bowl, side of rice and the lentil soup. I have to say the food was disgusting - it was too watery and was almost inedible. Extremely bland and in no way represents authentic middle eastern cuisine. The lentil soup was just lentils and water - no cumin, coriander, garlic and all the other spices that make it so delicious. Everything in the bowl was gross. My sister who ordered the same thing but also got the fries noticed how extremely under cooked they were - sticking to each other, uncooked and dripping with oil.
The only redeeming food was the felafel and the pita bread- the closest thing I’ve had so far when compared to how it is back home, but still relatively bland. I don’t recommend Naf naf to anyone unless you’re interested in eating puke soup??? On top of that the staff was extremely rude, didn’t fulfill the order and we had to come back because items were missing.
Skip out on this and get qudoba instead - you...
Read moreThis purely for the MOA location, the other locations that are in downtown and Eden Prairie are far better!
The food itself is quite good but the portion sizes have shrunk down to the point of being a bit of a joke, I'm not sure what the deal is with the MOA location because the other locations don't skimp on portions like the MOA one does.
The MOA location also won't give you a cup of water. At literally every other location they'll give you a cup of water for free, but here they won't. You can either buy bottled water or pay for a fountain drink. The smug person at the register, with a bone piercing through his nose and his ear lobes gauged and hanging to his shoulders, gave me a curt "we don't do that here".
This was one of my favorite spots to go to in the MOA because the price was reasonable for the portion and it's an island of flavor in a sea of bland burgers and deep fried whatever, but I just don't like being squeezed...
Read morePros: food tasted good, not bad price for the area, one guy seemed to care about the customers.
Cons: a majority of the workers sitting at the counters, ran out of a lot of toppings (and falafel!)
I was excited to try this place, I was looking for something new.
I get there at 1130 and no one is at the counter. The guys are just sitting at the booth behind me. Weird.
Anyone eventually someone got there and he was a nice kid. Told me they ran out of a bunch of stuff but he gave me extra sauce to compensate.
I liked the food but would have been better with pickles and falafel.
Update: upgraded from 3 stars to 4 because I went back to see if they had finished making the falafel. The kid told me it was going to be like 45 minutes. But then he gave me a voucher for a free pita and said he was sorry. Sounds like they were short staffed...
