I would realistically give this place a 3/5, but I don't want to hurt these people's ratings. I swear opening a breakfast restaurant, is cheat codes for wealth. A place like this stays busy and really doesn't deserve to. My wife ordered Eggs Benedict. It was more like boiled eggs on a hard biscuit, with room temperature sauce. There's no excuse to serve such mediocre food. Who ever is rubbing this place should have better quality control. I'd fire, or have a stern conversation with the cook who is responsible. I ordered a burger with double Patties. Very solid surprisingly. The burger had a generous portion of meat, ingredients were relatively fresh. I didn't mind they added cheese even though I said not to. I'd recommend the owner to switch the buns they are using. They were small, tough, dry, and not warm (it doesn't take much to toast a burger bun guys). Front of the house staff was great. Theyre friendly and seem like they care. All in all, I didn't leave feeling like I wasted my money, hence not giving a bad review. Please Shari's you guys could dramatically improve the food with a little but more effort and thought...
Read moreThe 15th. stop on our Sunday breakfast review, Today’s breakfast was at Shari’s, there were 5 of us that showed up. Terry got there first and had no problem getting a table for us. Our server was friendly, although not as attentive as we would have liked. We started off with coffee, it was not very good. It was served in a decanter and probably had been sitting for awhile. Most of us had the Farmhouse Biscuits and Gravy, which came with 2 biscuits with sausage gravy, hash browns, 2 eggs, and 4 pieces of bacon, for $9.25. Unfortunately none of us got hot food, it was luke warm at best. We all agreed that the biscuits were good, but the sausage gravy was not. The hash browns were not crispy, the eggs were okay, but the bacon was really good. The atmosphere was okay with large private booths and we didn’t wait long to get our food. We have decided to give Shari’s a 4.5 rating, and they got that for the bacon. We are only reviewing the biscuits and gravy, atmosphere, cost, and the service. We rate these places on a score of 1 to 10. One being food poisoning, and ten being so excellent that we want a...
Read moreShari's is one of those restaurants that when you go there you know exactly what you're getting when you walk in. It's not homemade, but it usually is delivered looking just like the picture in the menu. If we get a late start on a Saturday, and most other places are crowded, we can always get a table at Shari's. It didn't used to be that way, because there were a limited amount of choices in Twin. But, with all of the really good breakfast and dinner choices opening up, they have given Shari's a run for their money. I think there are devoted diners that fill the booths, but I see the atmosphere there not changing with the times. I know they recently remodeled, but it is quickly looking rundown again. There should be less booths, and more tables and chairs. Not only would that make it easier to clean, but the seats wouldn't get ripped, and look unsightly.
Like I said, if you are not interested in waiting in line, and a average dining experience is good enough with you, go to Shari's, you will get full, and the waitresses...
