I usually go for city pass like this and if you are really organized and somewhat fanatical like me you can really cover city like Prague with so many attractions. Good planning is essential as some things are very far apart so usually I do not go to see botanical gardens as you will lose too much time unfortunately. I was surprised that there are not many free museums included so I went to see only Technical. You need do decide what you want to see, what may be possible and what you need to skip. This time I went for 3 guided tours and although it was almost 3 hours each it was well worth it as they covered that amazing public building with Smetana concert hall, city center with Jewish ghetto and Prague underground tour. Guides were excellent and underground tour was best for me so far. For tours you need to contact by email to make reservations. There is also one free concert but check in advance availability as it was day after my pass. Go for river cruise it is fun. Check all around Karlovy bridge. I did not have time for Hradčani castle complex this time. First you need to decide if you want card or electronic on the mobile. I have decided to go for mobile but had also printed confirmation to ask for card if I lose mobile or it is broken, take also external batteries just in case as you will use app together with Google maps a lot. Good thing is that you can activate it when actually in Prague and that is covers public transport including bus from the airport. During 4 days I did not encountered controls on the public transport which was surprise. So in conclusion, if you are ready to run like crazy across the town and can do it for several days this is good option for you but some museums (communism, national, etc) are missing. Otherwise this may be too much for you and at the end you may pay more then you get from it so think carefully if this is first time you go for city pass. And go for...
Read morePrague Visitor Pass is just great value. Would highly recommend one of these cards for both seeing all the major attractions of Prague and using the tram system within the city. We went to the Petrin Tower, Mirror Maze, Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Royal Palace, Golden Lane, St George's Basilica. We also went on a mini cruise and went to other countless attractions courtesy of these cards. Great value for £25. Using the tram system with the cards was just great as we were able to get around easily and fast and see what the nightlife had to offer too!
During the two days we were there we were able to do and see so much due to purchasing these cards. I hope to go back to Prague next year as we were city hopping this year, therefore as well as Prague, we went to Vienna, Budapest, Frankfurt and Brussels. I have to say though left Prague with a feeling of wanting to stay on just a few days more! Will definetly go back next year and will purchase one of these...
Read moreThe decision to buy this card was the best of our trip. After paying the fee we did not have to worry about anything else. This card includes everything that you would want on a city pass; Free unlimited transportation including the airport, free entrance on every monument and also guided tours on many languages. The city is full of info points where you can ask questions and also reserve tickets for the guided tours. Lastly the application that it comes with is extremely useful. It contains information about each monument, the timetables and it also has a map, allowing you as you stroll around the city to locate everything around you. The price of the card is also excellent; the tickets to visit the museums individually without the card exceed far beyond the price of the card. If you want to really access this beautiful city's monuments with out stress, this card is the...
