On 9/12/2023 we unfortunately stayed at this completely disgusting excuse of a hotel! As my grandson, daughter and myself checked in we were informed we would be staying in the "annex" building which has no staff and the pool and hot tub are permanently closed. As we entered the building it was empty of all staff, pool windows taped over in black plastic, like some type of foreclosed property. The building stunk and has some type of moldy animal urine stench! As we continued down the hallway, we notice black round stains in the carpet everywhere! As we unlocked our room and entered the moldy urine stench intensified, we were shocked that there were round black stains all over the carpets and a huge 5 foot stain coming from the mini fridge! (See attached pictures). Needless to say we were more than shocked and disgusted!!! We then began to look and investigate this dated stench filled animal urine stained dump! We discover huge and extensive black mold all around the interior of the shower stall and a foul stench odor like a backed up sewer or septic emulating from the foot of the toilet? After sitting on the beds that felt like 25 years old worn out mattresses and discussing what we should do, it was so late and some organized event had most hotels book at that late hour and my 3 year old grandson was beyond exhausted after traveling over 700 miles by car! As we sat there in complete disgust and dismay, we noticed a band of numerous black flies on the walls and flying around the room. So if you like numerous flies biting at you, landing in you and flies as pets this disgusting dump is your place. We then ventured out in the hallway again to investigate the stench ridden black stains. The stains are everywhere and littered throughout the entire hallway! As we progressed down the hallway we observed 2 guests with dogs, one with multiple dogs. As we neared the end of the hallway 1 dog was barking uncontrollably from its room, over and over at 10 decibels loud. Another dog across the hall was joining in ever so often at the same defining level! We ended up having to spend the worst night ever in our entire lives. The 2 dogs barked uncontrollably all night and early morning long and I mean our entire stay! We later found out at their terrible breakfast from another guest that the owner of the howling dog had left for the evening overnight leaving the dog howling alone all night! As we were at a lousy excuse for breakfast we spoke with multiple guests who encountered the exact same condition if room with the same animal urine stains and smell and did not sleep because of the howling dogs! Several guests just got up and left breakfast shaking their heads in even more disgust and disbelief! As we check out of this 1 star dump, we ask for the manager, we were told she would be in to work around 10 to 11am? That's a real hard working manager! Do not stay with yourself and much more your family, you will be shocked and tortured for your entire stay. I actually threw up barf in the morning from smelling the stench in that haunted building. If you stay here you will be sorry, believe us!!!!! Please see...
Read moreFrom the time I checked in I was given no thing but a hard time which lead me to evaluate my stay by 9am on a Saturday morning. I got to the hotel after a 5 hour drive from southern Utah worked with a young lady named Makayla (pleasant) to find out that the accessible room nearest the pool (my husband is an African American disabled individual) I had booked over the phone with the corporate number wasn’t available or didn’t exist. I explained to her they why’s of my booking and to my surprise another lady pops up out of a back room extremely rude and asks “WHAT ROOM ARE YOU PUTTING HER IN”? I interrupted her and asked what her name was as she had no name badge or identification of any kind, and again really nasty I’m Jamie the front desk manager to which I responded ohh great even better. Still with attitude she tells me what room she can give me I call my husband to see if he wants to stay or book elsewhere. He decides to stay because he just wanted to get out of the car and relax. So we do. Later on I order food and put both the room and the pool for delivery because I wasn’t sure where we were going to be and there are no signs as to have no food at the pool. My food was never brought to the pool it was intercepted by Jamie at the front desk. She comes to the pool extremely loud saying NO FOOD IN MY POOL I said ok that’s fine I’ll take it to the room. I get out to take the food to my room and my keys don’t work neither one of them. About an hour or so later Jamie comes storming in the pool area yelling NO DRINKS IN MY POOL and directed that statement to myself and my husband, now there are NO posted signs in this pool area that say no drinks and she continues to yell at the top of her voice I will kick you out and ask you to leave the pool and premises immediately. We live along way from this hotel so the amount of bullying and anxiety I had behind this woman was such unnecessary chaos! So to avoid any issues I take our drinks, water bottles and cans to the room. There we many other guests that had come in to the pool area with water bottles and they weren’t addressed once I feel like we were racially attacked and targeted from the time I walked into that place of business. I will not ever stay at this property ever again! Jamie isn’t someone I would have be at the forefront of my operation. The room was ok the air conditioning didn’t work and the carpet was horrible. The location was conveniently close to a lot of great views and places to shop. I hope this helps you make your...
Read moreFirst off, the location is key!!!! Everything we wanted was in a 5 mile radius, from gas to fast food, to cigarettes and beer. We always look for places that are pet friendly since we have a 5 year old beagle/cattle dog mix who we take everywhere with us. There were plenty of grassy areas for him to explore and pee on. We loved that this location was close to several trails down to the snake river canyon. We stayed for a 3 day weekend and walked the trails everyday, twice a day.
The free breakfast was especially good and gets your day started early!! You can always come back and take a nap after being out running around. There were complimentary newspapers in the front lobby. There's an indoor pool and hot tub to enjoy although they are both small. There were plenty of extra towels to grab at the pool.
We stayed in one of the suites and it's much like a small one bedroom apartment. There's a living room area with a couch that unfolds into a bed, a place to hang clothes next to it, a dresser with a TV on it and a desk. There's also a table and two comfy chairs for dining in. The bedroom had a king sized bed, a place to hang clothes, two night stands, an alarm clock, a dresser with a TV on it and 2 large mirrors. Inside the closet was a luggage rack and an iron and ironing board. There was a kitchenette, complete with a mini fridge and a microwave and in room coffee maker with coffee supplies, more in the lobby. Plenty of counter space, a small sink and lower cabinets completes the kitchenette. The bathroom has a very large soaking tub with jets that even my 6ft 2in tall hubby could stretch out in. The tub was also the shower, with a massage type shower head attached to the wall. The bathroom was on the large side for a motel. The shampoo and conditioner are on the wall, to squeeze out what you need, 2 bars of soap, one on the bathroom sink and one by the tub and lotion on the wall in a squeeze out what you need bottle.
We will definitely return and I would encourage...
