Went here with a party of 6 on a Wednesday night. Made a reservation ahead of time and still waited about 20 mins to be sat. Primarily because so many tables were still dirty and needed to be cleaned. A woman came to speak to us repeatedly about a table that was about to get up, but honestly if they had just cleaned one of the larger tables we could have all fit. Then once we sat the same lady came over to tell us that they’re “almost sold out of everything, but it’s ok they still have fish”. It was a weird vibe, did she want us to stay or go? She told us the waitress would be with us shortly to please be patient. At some point after we had ordered appetizers we told this same lady that we hadn’t finished ordering when the waitress walked away. She quickly said “I don’t work here, just helping, they very busy”. To be honest she seemed like the owner who was sitting with another large party. The waitress was nice, but clearly very over whelmed. Food wise I like the sushi we orders and the crab rangoons. The miso soup tasted horrible and was...
Read moreI was absolutely blown away by Sushi Den! This incredible restaurant opened just 10 months ago and I can safely say, THIS IS THE BEST SUSHI IN INDIANAPOLIS, HANDS DOWN!!! 🍣🍱
The fish was fresh, the presentation was immaculate, and the service was top tier! Our server, Diana, was so kind and thoughtful and checked on us to make sure we were good.
For their spicy rolls, they hand cut the fish into small pieces and mix it with their blend of spicy sauce — I DONT THINK ANYONE UNDERSTANDS HOW RARE THAT IS IN INDY! Most places pre-mix their spicy rolls.
We came in for lunch and their menu was extensive and the prices were unbelievably reasonable for the quality and portions you receive.
I would recommend this to any and all sushi lovers who are craving an LA/NYC level sushi restaurant in the heart of Indy. This is the go-to spot for fresh, quality sushi in the city! 100/10
Yes, it really is THAT good. Thank...
Read moreHey. Let me tell you, I work at Taxman and sitting there brooding over when this place would open was KILLING ME as mildly traveled half Korean. Let me just say one thing other than about the customer service, takoyaki. Get it, get 5 million of them. I really should get two orders and eat more than my fair share, really. She usually gets the sweetheart roll and spicy scallops which are full of flavor and freshness. The owner, who I haven't gotten to really speak with yet, is very hands on. There's not a moment where I haven't seen him working or speaking with customers. And Selene, she's the best!! Absolutely friendly, service with a smile. I'm terribly grateful for not only Sushi Den, but the people that make it so inviting...
