I love dominos as a franchise above all other pizzas but Newport dominos keeps disappointing me.
First and second I work for the school district and use dominos for my family nights. Twice now I ordered the same order and both times neither was right. I asked for ten slices and I got eight. Had to recut pieces to get the right number of slices for my event.
Third experience was a sausage, onion and pepperoni pizza, resulting in crust and onion. No cheese, pepperoni, or sausage, had to wait a whole 25 minutes for a redo.
Fourth I preferred three pizzas and got two and also found out they took my order wrong and charged me for the one they forgot and had to wait for the whole order to be done again. The guy Paul I believe had unprofessional attire it was tattered, his family in the lobby was more important than me a paying customer, and fortnite this weekend on the phone was more important than customers. Very unprofessional.
Fifth I was asked too call about my review which I did three times and all three times I was told s manager would call, all three times a lady manager. I have yet to talk to her. I also physically came in and talked to a shift manager he took my information and told me she would call me. I am still waiting. Till I talk to an owner or dominos rep. I feel my customer money cannot go to an unprofessional establishment where video games and unprofessional staff can fallow through on good pizza and professional...
Read moreI tried to input an online order at 4pm for their running promo special of 49% off menu price pizzas (4pm-9pm) and it would consistently say “This is not a valid offer at this location.” So, I called the store to verify and they replied - after considerable deliberation - “it’s only available on the app.” Well, that’s not what the advertisement said; it said an online order. After continued attempts, the offer finally became available at 4:15pm online and I placed my order. It was the tenth attempt on the Domino’s website after 4pm.
I ultimately ordered an Extravaganza that’s supposed to have extra cheese (beyond the norm - an extra item), yet I don’t think there was any cheese on it - zero; pizza supposed to have cheese man. The pizza and whole experience was very sub-par and the help were unhelpful and lost in translation about the situation. Disappointed since I placed my entire trip to town around the 4pm special for the pizza that was ultimately not very good.
I personally think there needs some reorganization or new management. I wouldn’t want my business run this way or by this crew. I guess you get what you pay for when buying...
Read moreNo parmesan or peppers!? Domino’s has always been one of my favorite places to get pizza, so I was really happy when these guys came to Newport. The pizza is usually really good. The last time we ordered, it was just okay, but not every pizza can be perfect so I can forgive. HOWEVER!! At one point they started charging 5 cents per packet of Parmesan or crushed red pepper, and while that’s really stupid, at least it was still offered. I was informed last time we went that they no longer even have parmesan or peppers! I seriously thought the employees were just messing with me, but after ordering again last night - same thing! What the heck!? It might seem like an easy way to cut an expense, but it really was a bad idea. Pizza without crushed red peppers is boring. Sure, I could use my own, but sometimes I’m not going home with my pizza. And damnit it’s the principle of the matter. That’s just the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, and it’s sad that there’s no competition for them here, because if the owner is so cheap that they don’t want to supply their customers with staples of a good pizza, then they don’t deserve...
